Two problems related to brake disc pads have been reported for the 2018 Jeep Renegade. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Brake Disc Pads problem

Failure Date: 09/01/2020

The front brake rotors on my Jeep are grooved extremely bad. I only have 24,000 miles on it and I never brake hard. I took it in to the dealership and they said that the pads look like new and that there is no outside cause for the grooving and that the rotors would need to be replaced. There is a grinding feel when driving and braking.

2 Brake Disc Pads problem

Failure Date: 06/15/2020

Brake pads not worn after 28000 miles but deep grooves in rotors both left and right. Diagnosed by 2 technicians (2 different locations) as defective brake pads.
