One problem related to transmission not go into gear has been reported for the 2018 Jeep Renegade. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When driving at long periods of time at higher rpm's (2500-3000), especially when driving on an incline, transmission appears to shift hard, not go into gear properly, or just simply go into neutral, and slow the vehicle down rapidly. When traveling on the decline, there were no problems whatsoever. Vehicle has 4800 miles on it. Spoke to dealer, and service tech informed me it wasn't the first time he's heard this complaint.
