The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Renegade. The contact stated that while her daughter was driving in traffic, several warning lights appeared on the instrument panel as the vehicle stalled. The contact's daughter called the police who assisted her daughter with moving the vehicle off the roadway. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. Prior to the failure, a similar failure occurred; however, the vehicle did not stall but failed to shut off. The contact was able to google information on manually overriding the failure in the settings. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. After the most recent failure, the dealer determined that the failure was linked to the body control module sensor; however, the parts for the repair were on backorder. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 3,492.
