One problem related to automatic transmission park/neutral start switch has been reported for the 1996 Jeep Wagoneer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Upon vehicle being started, and being in park gear jumped into reverse automatically. Vehicle rolled back into the lake, almost drowning driver and pet. Please provide any further information.
