One problem related to hood has been reported for the 2000 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Water leaking beneath dash onto passenger side floor. Dealer stated that debris entered through hood vent and accumulated causing drains to plug up. Hence rain water will overflow into interior compartment. Dealer cleared drains with air hose. Cover hood vent with magnetic sheet (made for household heating vents) when vehicle is not in use.
