Treads separated from tire after 2000 miles of driving. This happened on the highway.
The contact owns a 2000 Jeep Wrangler. The vehicle has interco super swampers iroc tires, size 37/12. 5/15. While driving approximately 10 mph on normal road conditions, the vehicle began wobbling excessively and pulling in one direction. Immediately, the driver pulled over to the side of the road and inspected the vehicle. He noticed that all four tires exhibited uneven tread belt and were out of round. The tires were recently purchased in 2009. The manufacturer was notified of the defective tires, but did not assist. The VIN, dot number, and failure mileage were unavailable. The current mileage was 104,000.
While driving and without warning tires were cracking. Size#30. 9. 5r15lt, and dot#,name of the tire not specified. Dealer notified.
When consumer applies brake pedal it goes all the way down to the floor. Brakes wouldn't hold. Consumer has to use emergency brakes in order to stop. The brake failed due to defective brake cylinder. The owner says the rear glass is also defective as well as the tire, which was replaced.
