One problem related to axle shaft seal has been reported for the 2001 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Rear axle seal broke at approximately 2000 miles. Repaired and replaced rear brake pads. Took back in for repair of axle seal a month later. 4 bolts were missing from the rear transfer case upon purchasing.
