One problem related to brake foundation components has been reported for the 2001 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Rear brakes are disabled, causing vehicle not to stop properly. Consumer adds vehicle will not stop in icy conditions unless in 4wd. In 2wd the front brakes lock up while the rear brakes are pushing vehicle. Dealer contacted but could not repair until Chrysler redesigned the brake lines.
