Two problems related to blower have been reported for the 2004 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The contact owns a 2004 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated the air conditioning and heating units failed to work intermittently. In addition, the contact was unable to defrost the windows during the winter months due to the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The dealer found that there were melted wires that caused the blower motor to fail. The manufacturer was contacted, but the vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 26,000 and the current mileage was 144,000.
Air does not blow out of the vents or floors. Air only blows out of the defroster or windshield.
