1 Brake Disc Pads problem

Failure Date: 10/14/2009

Would go from 30 mph and up apply the brakes and get a violent shaking. Took it to goodyear (had only 24000 btw) when we got new tires put on it and the guy said the rotors were 3/16 past turning. They wanted to charge us $875 for napa rotors. Went to the dealership they said it wasn't their problem and nothing had been reported. So seeing we were defeated we asked for prices on rotors (since we were there) $310 for driver side and $325 for passenger. I was like uhm ok. . . . Went to four wheel parts got a drilled set made in USA with pads for $275 out the door. I mean I figured why pay over 600 and have them only last another 24000 miles? got 54000 on it now with the us brakes and haven't had a problem. Btw it stops alot better than the stock ones did. Oh an I said 1 injury because I did injure my wrist trying to hold it on the road everytime I drove it.

2 Brake Disc Pads problem

Failure Date: 10/20/2008

Death wobble on a 2006 Jeep. I was going 55 and had it happen took it to a shop they said my tires needed to be balanced. A week later it happened at 58 mph and I lost control of the Jeep going off the rad took it in to the shop they said it was my brakes. After the brakes it still happened at 58 mph I have new brakes , shocks, brake pads, balanced, steering rod total of over 2000. 00 and 5 days of my time.
