Vehicle was involved in a very serious accident that resulted in the vehicle rolling 4 times. The airbags did not deploy on impact which resulted in the driver sustaining multiple broken bones in the face. Then, during the first roll, the driver was ejected due to a faulty seat belt latch which resulted in very serious critical injuries including a broken back. If these safety features would have worked, the driver would not be in the situation that she is in and suffering through lots of pain and life changing injuries.

2 Seat Belt problem

Tl-the contact owns a 2006 Jeep Wrangler 4x4. The contact stated that after putting on her seat belt and trying to tighten it, the metal part inside the chair broke. The vehicle was taken to a dealer who was unable to determine what caused the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and they offered no assistance. Tl- the contact owns a 2006 Jeep Wrangler sport. The contact stated that the passenger side seat belt would not retract, causing the passenger to drive without a seat belt while on the highway. The dealer and manufacturer were notified, but denied any assistance with repair to the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 29,700 and the current mileage was 29,828.
