Every time I fill up at the gas station the pump will overflow if I'm filling up the tank. The pump doesn't stop unless I pull the nozzle out at which point gas will spill all over the rear flare and paint. It happens at all gas stations. This is in my opinion a very serious safety issue. It appears Chrysler is going to wait for an ignition source to be around for someone to get seriously injured or die before they resolve this.
There are no crash test ratings for the rear occupants in Jeep Wranglers. Passengers are extremely vulnerable in the back seat since there is no protection except the roll bar but if they are rear-ended, the other car could simply hit the back seat directly. There is no neck protection as the seat is too short. When children ride back there, they are basically unprotected. This situation needs to be advertised so people don't assume it is safe to have passengers, especially children in the back of Jeep Wranglers. The back seat is only designed for cargo, not people! that's why they don't have data on rear occupant crash test ratings, because they would fail.
