Body problems of the 2009 Jeep Wrangler

Excessive heat on shoes while driving. Found defective and rusted floor boards on driver and passenger side.

Hood patches don't hold the hood secure it comes loose at hyway speeds.

Gas tank skid pla rusted through. Gas tank ready to fall off 2009 Jeep. 88k miles and parked in garage. Pieces missing and cracked lengthwise and widthwise.

My wife called me from work saying her Jeep was smoking after parking the vehicle. I rushed to her job and found smoke coming from under the Jeep. What I found was debris was stuck between the frame and the exhaust pipe in the center of the Jeep. Pinestraw been collecting there and was smoldering. I thought that was a fluke but much to my surprise my wife pulled into the garage 2 days ago and the car smelled like it was burning and I removed about 10 handfuls of pinestraw that was smoldering. We do not park the car in the garage anymore for fear of a fire. What makes no sense is the debris not collecting behind the tires but in the middle of the car. It is my opinion that Jeep should follow up with a recall or at least tell me how to rectify the problem.

The gas tank started leaking due to the skid plate supporting it rotting. I saw the gas on my driveway so I took it to my mechanic who put it on a lift and showed me the problem.

Driver's side (left) exterior side mirror fell off while driving on a city street. Mirror fell into road way posing a hazard for other drivers. Upon recovering mirror I found that the structural base that attached the mirror to the body was severely corroded away and it broke where an attaching bolt affixed the mirror to the mount not at the point the mount attached to the vehicle. My selling dealer covered this under our Chrysler extended warranty with a $100 deductible. But this is a common defect and poses a safety hazard both to the owner and others around the vehicle or other drivers.

Each time I fill up the gas tank the gas overflows and erupts out of the filling hole spewing gasoline all over the bumper, fender, body and myself.

09 Jeep Wrangler hits a bump in the road and goes in a violent vibration (wobbling to the point you think you are going to lose control of the car. Very scary! I own the car since new. Investigated the issue on line and and found out not the only one with this issue. So called death wobble!.

My wife took my Wrangler to get gas and when the guy pulled out the nozzle gas sprayed out and some got on him and my Jeep this is actually the second time this has happened the first time was 2/20/14 same gas station different guy.

The contact owns a 2009 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while traveling 65 mph, the hood latch failed and partially. The failure was recurring. The vehicle was not taken to an authorized dealer for inspection. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure and current mileage was 52,000.

I have a 2009 4 door rubicon. I am experiencing major rust on the body under the doors, and with oxidation on non steel parts such as the mirror hardware and tire valve stems. I experienced the oxidation from the very start of owning the vehicle. In general event some bolts on the inside of the vehicle have rust on them. Chrysler is not will to do anything about it.

Every time I fill the gas tank, ever since I first bought it, it will spill gas upon shutting the pump off at top off. This was a problem with the 07/08 models to the point of a factory tank replacement, but the 09 model is not covered for some reason and should be. It will eventually ruin the paint and possibly the bumper cosmetics as well. Please help.
