One problem related to brake disc pads has been reported for the 2009 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
My brakes went out when driving it down the road. I took it to pope davis and they said the hydraulic hoses went bad causing the callipers, rotors, and pads to go bad. Then I found out there was a recall on this but when I called chystler they said my vehicle wasn't affected. Yes obviously it was. I spent $800 on having the hydraulic hoses, callipers, pad, and rotars replaced.
