My transmission cooler line started leaking on may 02,2014 at 1500 as I was returning home from work.
Every time I go to pump gas to fill the tank up completely, the pump does sense to shut off but gas comes spewing out and down the side of the Jeep. It is very irritating to not be able to fill it entirely, especially since the Jeep drinks gas pretty fast. Nothing I can do will stop it from running over, other than just not filling it 100%, which shouldn't even be an issue to begin with. I would really like for this to be addressed.
I own a 2010 Jeep Wrangler. When I fill up with gas the automatic shut off fails and has sprays out of the filler point. This has happened multiple multiple times. I do not "top off" the fuel. It sprays with force shooting out gas everywhere creating a safety and environmental hazard.
The heater core is leaking I believe because I smell antifreeze in the Jeep when heat is on I contacted Jeep they said its not a saftey issue so will not fix I think it is a saftey issue I have 5 kids and a wife who travel in there and all complain of headaches after riding in there . I googled the problem and thousands of Jeep owners had the same issue bad heater cores.
I was coming back from lunch break and was getting ready to pull into the parking space at work, when I shift the shifter back to neutral. . . The shifter broke off. It looks like the welding job was not to standar. From my visual inspection of the welding I can see air pockets. Luckly I was not on a highway or else this could have turn ugly for me.
I recently purchased a 2010 Jeep Wrangler unlimited. While driving the pedal was shaking and the steering was shaking. Also the soft top would not reach far enough to close. Have not driven the vehicle since. I'm currently using a rental.
I am having major problems with over drive shaking and not running right at all. My Jeep will kick itself in netrual and flash the prndl lights kickthe check engine light on when you are driving. S done it at bad intersections trying to pull across the high way. I have had to a service shop and talked to many people trying to figure out what to do. It does not need a rebuild. So please give me info on any help what to try before it gets me killed. It is getting very dangerous!.
On the 2010 Jeep Wrangler (lhd) dashboard, the airbag warning light flashes on every other minute with a chime, an indication that there is something malfunctioning or interfering with the vehicle's airbags. This has been a recurring issue and concern for many 2008, 2009 and 2010 Jeep Wrangler (lhd) owners, including myself, and has been shown time and time again to be caused by a faulty clockspring within the vehicle's steering wheel. This faulty clockspring is the culprit for potential airbag failure in the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Jeep Wrangler (lhd) during an accident or premature deployment when simply driving around. Daimler Chrysler has refused to address the safety concern of their faulty clockspring that can cause failure of the vehicle's airbags from properly deploying.
Back in 2011, my Jeep started spitting gas when filling it up. After the gas pump auto fill stopped pumping gas, it spit fuel back out at me. I have been checking with Jeep dealers frequently thinking that a Chrysler recall would come out. The latest time was this week and no recall. I decided to search the internet and found this site and decided to report the faulty gas tank.
The automatic shift won't remain secure in drive. If it's distributed in any way it gets knocked out of drive even while moving. On all roadways all directions.
Purchased car in sept 2010, have had intermittent heat and defrost problems since the get go. No heat, heat on one side, luke warm heat, no defroster. Been to the dealer and other mechanics and the problem still persists. This seems to be a known problem to Chrysler corp as there was a class action lawsuit regarding casting sand clogging the hvac system. Chrysler refuses to recall theses vehicles and address the problem. The problem persists at start and when the engine is fully warmed up, no discernible change in cabin temp.
I drove my 2010 Jeep Wrangler sahara unlimited through water that was sitting in a pasture that had been shredded. 30 minutes later my car was on fire. The design of the skid plate allowed the grass that was floating on the water to be pushed under the skid plate and around the catalytic converter, within 30 minutes the grass dried and caught on fire. I had 3 kids in the car on our way back from a rodio and ended up watching my Jeep burn at 1:00 in the morning. Chrysler will not take any responsability for this and has denied my claim. The back skid plate has a lip that dips down and allows the possabiliy of debre to be sucked up around the catalytic converter. The gas line and the transmission are right next to the catalytic converter which is dangerous. My car was a total loss luckaly we were all got out of the car without injury, I do plan on making sure this danger is known since Chrysler will not take responsability for their design flaw.
