Three problems related to car stall have been reported for the 2014 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle stalls when started, brake depressed and shifted into reverse. Will occur several times in a row, unless brake pedal is released as soon as vehicle is shifted into reverse. When brake is released, vehicle accelerates unusually fast, in reverse, without depressing the accelerator pedal. Problem is more prominent in colder weather (below 40�f).
My Jeep stalled twice while driving in traffic. Would not start immediately following each event. Loss of brakes and power steering while driving at speed created safety hazard to me and surrounding drivers.
Tl the contact owns a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle loss motive power and stalled without warning. The contact coasted to the side of the roadway. The vehicle was restarted and operated as intended. The vehicle was taken to love preowned autocenter (4401 s padre island dr, corpus christi, TX 78411), to be diagnosed. The vehicle received a new computer and the relay panel was replaced. The failure recurred and the vehicle was taken back to the same dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed and remained at the dealer unrepaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and provided a case number. The failure mileage was approximately 71,452.
