Body problems of the 2015 Jeep Wrangler

1. Driving speeds of 60+ mph my hood lifts up. Pull over to double check hood latches- take to cawood in port huron sold Jeep. (a) don't worry it a Jeep don't worry it is latched. (not latch took out window and damaged hood) to Chrysler in st clair told me to get new latches metal ones. Out of pocket 1 month after bought! 362. 00 w/labor 2. Jeep leaking filling front floors 3 to 4 inches of water sitting, took back to carwood in port huron, mi (" it is because you can't put on roof , I said there is only one way to do so and no it is leaking from behind my dash down to floor, hear popping noises and they said they can't find the leak, took Jeep back 4times at this point called again filled back up made appointment they replaced driver side seals, came back again now I can see out my door at tip door is hard to close they said it has to be broken in, well I have an area I can see outside, water still fills Jeep floors and popping is still there. Cawood will not respode now to me need help! 3 radio is overheating: pictures of display stating to hot nav is no longer working and dash is hot touch and speedo area is so hot to were melting of ducks. Something need recalled of leaking issuess! 4. Light tin noise in the floor colum near the area that fills water to floors: took to Jeep dealer: stated there was play in the driver shaft but after no call backs for warranty coverage after 2 wks. $3852. 00 cost repair since no calls back on when they will get it into repair took to local dealer asked was anything leaking Jeep fluids and is my driveshaft loss or needs anything. (a) nothing was taken apart to look at driveshaft to see if it was bad bolts not even removed nothing was wet oil nothing what dealer stated is wrong, still can't find any of my complains which is listed below leaking water, popping noises in dash; dash so hot melts ducks, tin noises no help Jeep need to recall before fire and death happens. Why no help crysler Jeep!.

Oil filter housing assembly failed.

The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact was to take the vehicle to a dealer and did not assist. The failure mileage was approximately 19,000.

Stopped at stop light. Car stationary. Out of nowhere engine accelerates on it's own and runs into an 18 wheeler truck that is passing through in intersection. I tried to stop forward thrust by putting both feet on brake, taking out of gear which wouldn't budge, then pulling up on hand brake. After hitting back trailer wheel of truck and Jeep raising back end off ground from impact acceleration stopped and engine idled. Sudden unintended acceleration. Manufacturer defect. Accident still under investigation by insurance company. Jeep towed to body shop.

My Jeep caught fire from the dash, reasons unknown. Insurance is investigating and fire dept put cause as unknown. Jeep is a total loss and my husband barely made it out of the vehicle before it was engulfed in flames. He was driving from school to home and about a mile from home on the highway about to exit.

Hood violently flutters at highway speeds. Had to pull over. Had to purchase after market sturdy hood latches to replace the factory ones.

My hood flutters (moves up and down) over and inch while driving over 60 mph. I am concerned that this is prematurely wearing the latch mechanism and could fail causing the hood to open while driving.

Days later the vehicle leaked water again. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 29,627. Jw.

Was driving one night with 8 year old daughter sleeping in the back seat. The headlights suddenly started going off and on then off completely, then wipers started going off, then interior light and dashboard lights & locks like it was possessed then Jeep suddenly died. Thank goodness we were almost home so my husband coasted it into our driveway then we noticed what smelled of electrical fire, I looked at the hood and could see a glow. My husband put it in park as I yelled for my daughter to wake up & get out. Mine & my husbands door were unlocked but the back two doors wouldn't unlock. I jumped back in the car (the fire was on my side ) to get my panicking daughter out right as the back doors unlocked again while still going off and on, and my husband got the fire put out and battery unplugged which was by this time on fire along with the fuse box.

I was driving on the 91 freeway eastbound in California. Somebody wave me to stop. The car got on fire while driving. As soon as we got out we saw the flames, it got on fire so bad that only the fire department was able to extinguish it. Some truck drivers tried to extinguish but they couldn't. It only had 24000 miles on it because I only use it on the weekends. I took really good care of it. Needless to say it was the scariest and saddest moment of my life. I'm still wondering what happened.

My wife arrive at work at 2 pm parked the Jeep Wrangler 2015 around 8 pm the engine caught fire security guards tried to turn off the fire but could not later arrived fire deparment and they extinguished.

2015 Jeep Wrangler only had 10,000 miles caught on fire and burned total loss just pulled into driveway at residence.

I did get into a minor accident while driving onto a on ramp and my vehicle skidded the guard rail. I exited the vehicle to check for damage and saw a flame near the hood of the car and immediately exited. The gas tank was never hit nor did I have a major direct collision in the accident however within seconds the vehicle burst into flames and was completely engulfed. The entire vehicle and my personal contents inside melted into nothing. I loved Jeeps but the incident has persuaded me to avoid purchasing them for the near future.

I bought the Jeep April 4, 2015. On July 19, 2015 I parked my car in the driveway and 3 hours later at 5:30 my dog work me up and I look outside and the whole front end of the Jeep was in flames. We were able to get the fire out but it was a total loss.

Vehicle was purchased new on April 16, 2015. My wife drove 8 miles to school and then 6 miles to her aunt's house. When she parked she noticed car was smoking and the car caught fire seconds later. Fire consumed the front end of Jeep before fire department could get here. The fire started under the hood on the right side.
