One problem related to navigational (global positioning system) gps has been reported for the 2015 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Back in 2015 Jeep dealership sold me a 3rd party gps theft tracking system. I used the website to access it out of curiosity, no problems had occurred. After the first initial month of installation, never bothered with it again. In truth of it all I had forgotten all about it until 2021 when I was running a dash am wire under the dash. The module is open and exposed to condensation. The module consisting of a small li-ion battery and a circuit board that's held on by velcro. The battery had swelled and off gassed rendering device inoperable. Who nows for how long it's been in that condition. The device is still attached with blown out battery, don't even know if gps is still operational. I don't remember the company's website or physical address and number. But according to my purchasing forms from Jeep the service is titled "mobile trace". Last time I checked if li-ion and moisture mix unsafe things can happen not to mention the inhalation of the gasses.
