Two problems related to check engine light on have been reported for the 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I purchased this vehicle on may 1st 2019 and park the car with only aprox. 63 miles on it that night. On may 2nd 2019 after driving a couple of miles the check engine light came on along with the stop/start icon with the explanation sign in it came on . I parked the vehicle and next available day was that Saturday may 4th 2019 to bring back to security Chrysler Dodge Jeep in amityville, NY. My vehicle went in with 88 miles. May 6th I was advised vehicle was cleared for pick up. Got to dealer around 8:15pm may 6th and still found stop/start warning icon illuminated on vehicle. . Dealer could not find issue, they put over 15 miles on my vehicle for drive cycling the vehicle but no repairs were made. I am dissatisfied with the outcome so far and dont have my vehicle back as yet and its may 8th 2019.
Every time I am driving my car my car will do what I call a "spaz out" moment. The dash warning lights all come on and a loud ding begins. My car dash lights up like a christmas tree and each notice pops transmission needs service, 4 wheel drive needs serviced. Traction system needs service, emergency break needs service. Then they all go off the check engine light remains on. I am very worry for my safety and other if this vehicle locks the wheels while driving on the high way. Most my driving is on the high way at the speed of 70mphs.
