1 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 06/01/2026

Stellantis fca should be required to extend paint warranty due to bubbling on hood and hinges. There is a known issue but needs to expand out to layer model years. My vehicle has never been in an accident and if was a few months newer stellantis would’ve covered an 8200$ repair. Hood hinge paint replacement.

2 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 11/01/2025

The instrument cluster has stop functioning and you can't see milage, gas or any of the warning lights within the cluster panel. I was not in an accident but wanted to report the problem of the cluster since my Jeep was not included in the recall. I have an estimate of 1,600. For a repair from Jeep mechanic. I feel that it should have been included in the recall.

3 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 08/08/2025

Around August of 2025 the gauge cluster went black and I can no longer see my total miles, gas gauge, and any warning lights that may appear on screen I. E. Door ajar. Because of this, I have almost gotten in car accidents because my gas runs out unknowingly. One time it put me in serious danger on the interstate having to add gas while cars were flying past me. There were no warning lights, check engine lights, or any other lights that would suggest failure. It just went black one day random day. We recently got into a car accident, this occurred after it had gone out and upon inspection the mechanic confirmed it was not associated with the accident and suggested looking into recall because Jeep currently has recalls on gauge clusters, which is why I am reporting now. It is available for inspection upon request.

4 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 07/24/2025

Service antilock brake system. Service shifter. Service 4wd. Loss communication with mph. Abs light. Traction control. Power steering failing. Brake. Doors lock/unlock. Vehicle shut down while I was driving and locked me out completely. Replaced part no. 68321746aa-001 vehicle was taken to four auto shops. None were able to diagnosed the issue. Mopar shop wanted to charge over $1,600 to replace abs sensors and other items. I referred them to look at the part and was told it was not going to fix the issue. It did fix the issue. I have spent the last 2 months trying to figure out what was wrong with my vehicle and several funds later.

5 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 07/07/2025

Immediate attention required – vehicle left in dangerous, inoperable condition by krietz auto dealership in frederick, MD. I am writing with extreme urgency to request your immediate attention and intervention regarding a critical issue involving krietz auto dealership. I have been a loyal customer of krietz auto since I purchased my vehicle from them in 2020. Recently, I brought my truck in due to a loud noise coming from under the hood. I was told the rear differential needed to be replaced. To my knowledge, there were no other major issues at the time. After the dealership had my vehicle in their possession for over a month, I was shocked to receive it back in far worse condition. Upon picking up the vehicle, it could not idle without overheating. I attempted to drive home with my young child in the vehicle, only to realize it could not travel over 30 miles per hour without the temperature spiking dangerously high. Tragically, the vehicle has now completely broken down and is no longer drivable. I am being forced to have it towed to another repair shop at my own expense. What was originally a routine service appointment has now escalated into a situation that has left me without transportation and has put the safety of both myself and my child in serious jeopardy. This level of negligence is unacceptable. I trusted krietz auto with my vehicle and my family’s safety. I now fear the damage was either worsened or created during the time the vehicle was in their care. I am respectfully requesting that this situation be thoroughly investigated and immediately rectified. This is no longer just a service complaint — it is a matter of public safety and accountability.

6 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 06/11/2025

I was driving my 2019 Jeep Wrangler to work and my Jeep started throwing all the things on the dash, start/stop lost communication, abs system lost communication, plus several other issues and I went into limp mode. I had it towed to the dealership to find out what was wrong and they told me it was the abs module. That was on Wednesday June 11th, 2025. It was 3 weeks before they got the part. When they went to program the abs module, it froze up and they had to order another one that took a week to get in. They replaced it again and told me, it was fixed. I picked it up on Wednesday, July 8th, around 5:00 pm and on that Friday, July 11th, at noon my check engine light came on again. I’m taking it in tomorrow to see what it is this time. So far it’s just the check engine light and I’m praying it don’t quit on me getting it there. There should definately be a recall on the abs module. I’ll be writing another update after I see what’s going on tomorrow.

7 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 06/02/2025

We have a failed internal cluster on 1c4hjxdn8kw649723 . There was recall vehicle is covered under recall 30b / 24v-652. However, sternalis will not recall our vehicle. It has been almost 4 months without a cluster. We are not allowed to buy one and sternalis won't supply one for us to purchase.

8 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 03/07/2025

The instrument cluster screen that shows mileage, gas and temperature went blank while I was driving and was a distraction and safety issue.

9 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 03/01/2025

Driving on interstate 35 south in fifth gear. There was a loud bang! and then we lost power. Barely made it off a tight overpass and we saw the smoke. The car was quickly on fires we got out as it started to engulf the Jeep with flames. It was a total and complete loss - and very dangerous.

10 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 02/13/2025

Vehicle is inoperable. Dealer says it is a bad abs module. 80+ codes were thrown, dashboard lights flickering on and off. Right brakes locked up on mechanic test drive. All abs functionality failed. The part is not being manufactured at this time. I have been told that there is no date when to expect the part's availability. This seems to be a common issue that should be recalled.

11 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 02/03/2025

We are having continual issues with the visors on our Jeep where both the driver and passenger visors fall out of their mounting brackets. Not only do they impair vision, but the drivers one has caught in the steering wheel and almost caused a crash. Please note this vehicle is used solely for highway use and has never been off road. I spoke with the dealer and they said this is a known issue and recommended I purchase 3rd party aftermarket clips on amazon or alternatively they could replace the whole assembly for a significant fee.

12 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 01/23/2025

Sun visors on driver and passage side pop off while driving. They are not held in position due to faulty parts and cause a hazard while driving because they swing uncontrollably while in motion. Not safe. Dealership has not helped with this hazard. Ive researched and this is a wider issue with other Jeep owners all experienced the same driving hazard.

13 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 12/17/2024

I have a 2019 Jeep Wrangler, which is part of a recall for what is known as the 'death wobble', meaning that when driving over the smallest bump at highway speeds (~60mph), the vehicle begins to shake uncontrollably. This is a known recall and we had it fixed through the recall. After the fix at the dealer, the same death wobble problem persists again. The dealer/manufacturer is not solving the root cause, but rather putting a temporary fix on the issue. Very unsafe.

14 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 11/21/2024

It is the same thing as th 30b recall I can send a picture.

15 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 06/26/2024

My Jeep just died in the middle of the on ramp to the freeway. We had to push it off to the side of the road. The lights all worked, the horn worked, the door locks worked and the radio worked. We tried jumping both batteries and it would not start and the dash would not come on at all. We had it towed to the dealership and they have had it for over 3 weeks and cannot find what is wrong with it. They thought it was the ecu but they said none of the modules are communicating in the vehicle. So they thought it may have a short so they started chasing wires. They still haven't found the culprit and my extended warranty is up in September. It only has 16,000 miles on it.

16 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 06/11/2024

Who’s driving down the road the sun visor dropped down nearly causing me to crash due to not being able to see with the visor hanging in the way.

17 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 04/25/2024

My Jeep Wrangler's instrument cluster randomly shut down while driving. This means I couldn't see the electronic speedometer, odometer, or any other information on the dashboard. There weren't any warning lights before it failed. I had the dealer fix it, but Jeep wouldn't cover the entire cost of the repair, even though the dealer confirmed there was no water damage or external cause. It seems like the instrument cluster just malfunctioned and fried. This appears to be a recurring issue with Jeep Wranglers, and it's concerning that Jeep isn't taking responsibility for a problem that could be a safety hazard, especially when using features like adaptive cruise control that relies on the digital screen. Attached is the repair order and invoice detailing the problem. I also have a video of it mid-failure if you need it. This shouldn't happen with a vehicle at 46k miles, major safety concern.

18 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 03/01/2024

1st problem was death wobble on highway took to dealer fix, 2nd problem was death wobble on highway tire rods fixed. 3rd problem stealing lock on highway and car wobbling. Towing to dealer. All times car had to be towed. All times going 50 on highway which has been dangerous.

19 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 01/29/2024

While driving my Jeep Wrangler went limped windshield wipers came on and every light on the dashboard was lit up . I couldn't brake or press the gas while driving on the highway with other cars. I had to coast to the side of the highway and just pushed to turn off and shift to park . Jeep was towed to the dealership the next available appointment , at the end of March . Wire harness wires were replaced and drove it 4 days and the same issue happened again while I was driving. I am very unhappy that I can't drive my Jeep Wrangler because I have babies that I worry the issue may happen again and we have a serious accident that would hurt all of us .

20 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 11/16/2023

While driving with the sun visor down it became detached from the hinge and swung and hit my face causing distracted driving. It continues to hang due to the defect and is obstructing vision of the windshield for safe driving. The vehicle is available for inspection if requested. This is a safety hazard and an obvious defect with the part mounting the visor to the vehicle. I called the dealership and they confirmed this was a known issue with newer Jeep Wranglers and that the entire visor could be replaced for several hundred dollars at my expense. The visor itself is not the issue, it is how it is secured to the vehicle that is the problem. It appears as though it has detached itself from whatever was securing it safely to the vehicle. There were no warning signs or any issue with the visor prior to it releasing itself and swinging freely causing distraction to driving and possibly bodily injury. When spoken to, the dealership confirmed this is a known issue with the way the newer visors are designed in new Jeep Wranglers. Upon conducting online research, this issue is common and others are experiencing it as well. In a potential accident or general driving this visor could detach itself and be propelled possibly injuring the driver and passengers. This safety related defect needs to be recalled and fixed immediately and not at the owners expense.

21 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 11/01/2023

Car is always needing a seatbelt change battery is not good visor is always getting replace all this caused by manufacture.

22 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 10/26/2023

The passenger side sun visor has broken off up inside the ceiling where it’s hinged so now it just drops down. It’s the same issue all the Jeep visors have. Jeep isn’t correcting the defect. They just keep putting the same problem out for the consumer to deal with over & over again & they’re being allowed to do that!!!.

23 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 09/06/2023

I got letter from mopar back in February 2023 stating there could be a problem with my Jeep. At the time there was not problem. A week and a half ago around Aug. 23, 2023 my Jeep started smelling hot while driving and there is a rattle between 3rd and 4th gear. My Jeep is a manual transmission. . Read more...

24 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 07/20/2023

While driving all dash lights come on and steering locks up. Been in shop for weeks and they cannot find out the reason. There are several videos on youtube of same issues. This is very dangerous, especially if driving at highway speeds. How do I file to get this on recall list? my wife was driving at low speed when it happened and was able to get to side of road.

25 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 03/18/2023

I am reporting the Jeep "death wobble". I have made an appointment to have the dealer look at the issue but experienced the death wobble on the interstate two different times traveling at 72 and 73 mph. After going over a relatively small bump at 73 mph going east on I-94 at right around mile marker 260 in wisconsin, my Jeep shook uncontrollably until I reduced speed to under 40 mph. Again, on my way home on I-94, my daughter hit a bump right around mile marker 246 heading west. The Jeep violently shook and she had to pull over and come to a stop. While we did not get into an accident, the need for rapid deceleration on the interstate absolutely could cause an accident. I am so disappointed in Jeep!.

26 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 03/05/2023

New recall has come out for the Jeep 2019 manual transmission. This is the third recall and there is still no fix. Recently my clutch blew on the highway, first it started to smoke and then the clutch exploded. Going speed of approx 70mph with a child in the car. This is well know issue without a fix and I do not want to drive this vehicle any longer. Jeep will not fix the clutch, I have to pay $3600 for it and "if" or "when" the fix happens, then I can get reimbursed. The clutch could go again at any time not safe. And Jeep does not care.

27 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 03/01/2023

The driver side visor falls and the electrical components goes out on the mirror and garage opener. The mirror swings while driving on the freeway. Very hazardous trying to clip while driving, needs to be recalled.

28 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 02/23/2023

I was notified of a recall for my 2019 Jeep Wrangler unlimited sahara back in 02-2023. This is a recall wherein my clutch could become overheated and lead the pressure plate to rapidly fracture which could lead to a fire and cause injuries. To date, there is no remedy. This is recall number 23v-116 and manufacturer recall 19a. I have emailed them without response other then they would contact me in a few days. . . . My concern is growing as they dont seem to be taking this very serious and exactly what am I supposed to drive? if I drive the car, I put myself and others at risk. I have asked for a rental car until they come up with a fix. My pleas have gone unanswered. In any case, I believe that this recall should be addressed promptly.

29 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 12/14/2022

We started experiencing a problem with our clutch on our manual transmission 2019 Jeep Wrangler sport in December 2022. It felt like it would slip out of gear on its own, sounded like when someone first learns how to drive a manual and grinds the clutch. The dealer couldn't figure it out. Kept getting worse. Multiple trips back to the dealer. Mind you at the time this car was 3 1/2 years old and only had about 40,000 miles. Finally we found out there was a recall in February 2023, and the dealer told us there were no parts or no solution yet. This car is my wife's daily driver. I called the dealer back a couple months later, no update yet, Jeep "was working on it", hoped remedy would be available by end of June. Kept calling back every month or two, same story. I drove the car for the first time in a while in July and realized it was not safe to drive. Constantly slipping out of gear, couldn't get it going fast enough. Decided to read the recall again and realized it said it was a fire hazard. My dealer called and was told still no remedy, now they tell him hopefully end of q3, so I asked the service manager to please get me into a loaner on Jeep. They did this. This is almost 2 months later, still no remedy. It's fantastic how Jeep can spend millions on fancy advertisements with derek jeter, yet because the people who own clutch vehicles are such a small percentage it seems our safety is not a priority. I can't believe a major car manufacturer has taken over 7 months knowing there is a safety issue and still no remedy.

30 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 10/08/2022

While driving on the highway, my car began to shake. Upon inspection of the dash and its components, no warning lights appeared and nothing was triggered to state that there was a flat or anything was wrong with the vehicle. I had to lower my speed from 70mph down to 50mph as I went to merge right to get onto the shoulder and/or exit to a safe location in case I had a flat. Upon slowing to 50mph the shaking stopped and I was able to drive normally. I proceeded to drive for a few more miles due to the issue seemingly resolving itself. As the vehicle reached speeds of 70+ mph it began to shake again. This time I managed to pull off onto the shoulder and inspected the car in case there was a flat and/or something caught onto the axel. Nothing appeared out of the ordinary and the vehicle drove normally, without issue from that point on. The shaking lasted anywhere from 20-30 seconds while traveling at highway speeds.

31 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 09/21/2022

I purchased this new 2019 Jeep Wrangler unlimited in late December of 2019. Approximately two years into ownership, rust began to appear along the frame welds. Roughly 2. 75 years into ownership, this corrosion began to become very noticeable throughout the frame welds located underneath the vehicle. Many welds also feature small holes. In September of 2022 (33 months into ownership), I began to investigate the issue. I spoke with a local dealership and Jeep customer care via email, phone and in-person (I can produce the correspondence if needed). I was told by the dealership that I had 25 months left on corrosion warranty, but that it did not cover corrosion to the frame or suspension. I was also told that the holes are not an issue. I also contacted Jeep customer care several times (with photos) and received very little assistance. Jeep customer care also stated 25 months left on corrosion warranty, but that a dealership must diagnosis and state that it is a covered issue. Jeep refuses to further address the issue until the dealership does. The dealership has stated they will not, no matter how much I mention this appears to be a significant (and unsafe) defect. The dealership has since stopped communicating. A local body shop (unaffiliated with Jeep), upon inspecting the vehicle, stated that this Jeep should not be in this state of disrepair so early into its life. This vehicle does not feel safe given the severity and location of the corrosion/deterioration throughout the frame and suspension.

32 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 09/05/2022

While driving-sun visor on drivers side failed and immediately fell in middle of my view. Could have caused an accident. The Jeep windshield is small and narrow to begin with and having a large portion suddenly blocked by a falling visor is a major issue.

33 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 08/17/2022

When driving down the interstate my 2019 Jeep hit a small bump in the road. Front end started shaking violently. At first I thought I had blown a tire but tire pressure warning did not show on dashboard. I let off the gas and it ebbed till gone. I was going 70 miles an hour when it started. It was intermittent through out the day and started each day after.

34 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 08/01/2022

While driving the visor above both the driver side and passenger side falls down from where it is supposed to be. The mechanism that holds the visor in place is defective and falls out of the hole where it is supposed to connect to. The mechanism is still in tact so the visor falls enough to obstruct the drivers view but does not fall out. This almost caused me to crash while on the highway yesterday. I have confirmed with multiple other drivers of the 2019 jlu that this also happens to them.

35 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 07/28/2022

It takes a considerable amount of time for the back up camera to turn off once the transmission is switched from reverse to drive the camera is still displaying the rear view of the vehicle as the vehicle is moving forward which has the potential to cause a serious impact this happens on a consistent basis and is not an isolated incident.
