The contact stated that when driving approximately 35 mph, and at any speed, the driver's side visor completely detached from the vehicle interior roof and hit the contact in the face. The contact stated that the visor startled her and made her swerve the vehicle in reaction to having been struck. The contact stated that the vehicle visor on the passenger side had also begun to detach from it's anchor point on the vehicle interior roof. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the visor needed to be replaced. The vehicle had been repaired. The failure reoccurred and both visors had again detached. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 46,000.
