general problems of the 2015 Kia Motor Forte

Airbag warning is on, buttons/control of the wheel dont work, cruise control does not work. Motor shakes a lot. We got this car 2-3 weeks ago light was not on when we got it from the dealer. Im not an expert but I think that something is not working properly. . . Im do apologize for the inconvenience.

The contact owns a 2015 kia Forte. The contact stated that after accelerating from a red light the driver side airbag suddenly deployed. Upon inspection it was discovered that the passenger side tire had also flatten. During the incident the driver sustained an injured right arm. The contact indicated that no collision or frontend damage had occurred to cause the failure. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer and local dealer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 180,000.

The contact's daughter owned a 2015 kia Forte. The contact stated while his daughter was driving at 15 mph, another vehicle going 40 mph crashed into the passenger front side of the vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact stated his daughter sustained whiplash and was taken to the hospital. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a lot, where it was totaled. The dealer and manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 29,000.

I was traveling on north carson I was at a caution light trying to turn left when a tahoe rear ended me. My car turned out of control and my airbags didn't not work.

Airbag controller diagnosed by dealer as failed. The vehicle has not been in an accident or had any repair work associated with this part of the vehicle. Vehicle is 3 years old and should not have had this failure.
