Other Fuel System problem #1

While driving, the forward collision warning system activated unexpectedly without any apparent hazard or obstruction in front of my vehicle. Immediately after the warning appeared, the vehicle suddenly lost speed and became very slow to accelerate. I was unable to safely increase my speed while traveling on a busy roadway, creating a dangerous situation and nearly resulting in a collision with surrounding traffic. Due to the sudden loss of power and inability to accelerate normally, I activated my hazard lights and was forced to pull onto the shoulder of the road for my safety and the safety of other drivers. There were no visible obstacles, vehicles, or road conditions that appeared to justify the activation of the forward collision warning system. This unexpected activation and resulting loss of vehicle performance created a significant safety risk. I am submitting this complaint because a malfunction of the forward collision warning system or related vehicle systems could potentially lead to a serious accident or injury. I have experienced recurring brake issues despite recently having the brakes replaced. The problem continues to occur, raising concerns that there may be an underlying electrical or electronic malfunction affecting vehicle performance. I was recently pulled over shortly after the brake replacement due to concerns regarding the vehicle's braking system. Because the issue persists after repairs, I am concerned about the safety of the vehicle and the potential risk of a crash or loss of control.

Other Fuel System problem #2

As I was driving on the turnpike the car engine literally just shut down on me! it could have caused a serious accident. This is the 3rd time when driving the car just stopped on its own on me! gas tank full, oil good and battery good, but the engine is not! it gave me no warning either. This should be a recall. I could have been hit all 3 times! family came to help and tried to jump it and it wouldn't start so I had to get it towed. Dates happened March 28, 31st and April 6, all 2026. Also the key fog lock is defective! it works when it wants too.

Other Fuel System problem #3

I was on my way to work and my car started shaking and going really slow until it got to the 3rd gear and it would drive a little faster. I took my car to the dealership where I purchased it they took it to kia Dec. 26,2020 and it's still there they said my gas contaminated and charged 620. 00 then when I give them the ok to fix that problem 1day later they tell me it's been a recall on my transmission I've only had this car for 5months.

Other Fuel System problem #4

There is/was a flimsy plastic "shield" covering the undercarriage of this car beneath the passenger compartment. Calling it a shield is a stretch considering how flimsy it is. I don't know what it is called and apparently no one at kia USA or their dealerships does either. I have tried multiple dealerships parts departments and corporate for months now and none of them seem to be able to find the part or tell me what it is called. Three times now the leading edge has come loose and dragged the road. It scrapes and eventually breaks off if I don't cut it off first. There is very little left of it now. My concern is that this is a serious safety issue. The second time it started scraping I think it scooped something up off the road and caused damage to the fuel line, because when I got out of the car to look at what happened I smelled gasoline. There was a pinhole in the fuel line and it was spraying out under pressure. This flimsy plastic piece is the only thing between the fuel line and any road hazards that might damage the fuel line. If I hadn't gotten out to check on it, my car might well have caught fire! it's not very far from the exhaust, fortunately it wasn't spraying on that! the lines are recessed in a channel, but this obviously wasn't enough protection. A metal plate over the channel would provide some actual protection. As it stands now, I am driving around with a significant length of the fuel line exposed to road hazards because they can't tell me what the part is called to order it for me. I do not recall the exact date, so I picked one since it wouldn't let me continue without. I believe the month is correct, but am not even 100% sure about that.
