I was in motion, turning left from 13th street norfolk ne, into the grocery store parking lot, when another vehicle crashed into my drivers side and rear door directly in the middle. My drivers side door was unable to open, and the frame between both door was dented in.

03/08/19 at 5:45am I was entering us hwy 23 n. Bound from central Ave. In sylvania ohio. The car was having issues with acceleration as I tried to get on the freeway. Suddenly I heard like a fan noise, the oil light came on followed by the engine light and the car just shut off! I pulled to the side of the road as smoke was filling the cabin. I got out and went around front and flames were coming out between the hood and the fender on the passenger side. I called 911. One police and 2 fire trucks showed up in nothing flat! the fire was moving into the cab. The car is a total loss! after my own research I firmly believe it was the cooling fan resistor. That would explain the noise I heard and the fire.

There was a recall for underbody rust, which I took in for protection. There are little orange rust spots appearing sporadically through the white paint all over. I would like this looked at please.

While coasting into a parking spot my car lurched forward at a high rate of speed into a retaining wall. Kia is denying any responsibility. I am currently awaiting word from my body shop as to if the car will be totaled or not. If it is fixable I am very frightened to continue driving it. I am seeing numerous complaints about this issue and nothing is being done about it.

On November 12,2018 I was on the highway doing 65 mph when I was rear ended by a hit and run driver that seemed to be doing full speed, and I say that because I never heard any screeching brakes behind me. The impact totaled my car, with the majority of the damage to the trunk. The impact made my car spin around and at some point my front bumper hit something, but no airbags were deployed whatsoever. My seat belt was still locked in place, but somehow my seat reclined back just enough for me to be dislodged from the drivers seat and end up in the back seat, resulting in a broken vertebrae in my neck. Why did not one airbag go off and why did my seat belt not hold me in place?.

The car was involved in an accident and the insurance company informed the lienholder that the vehicle was possibly a total loss and the lienholder ignored them and sold the vehicle to a public auction without contacting the original owner of the car to pay on the vehicle either. The owner of the car was injured in the vehicle in question as well as a passenger and the lienholder is aware and still sold without proper notice and they changed the locks of the vehicle to prevent the insurance company from doing a proper inspection of the vehicle. The vehicle cannot be driven on a highway and shakes at 30 miles at an in less than 10 mins. The vehicle also operates on its own. The lienholder had been aware of the issue since April 2018. Less than 2 weeks after the accident.

Had front collision air bag deployment issue recall notice letter from kia I never received a follow up notice to fix.

I was driving on the interstate doing about 65 mph when suddenly I heard a very loud boom. No other cars were near me when the boom happened and I thought I just ran over something. A few minutes later my wife opened up the sunroof sliding cover and we saw that the sunroof had shattered. The whole sunroof glass looked like a spiderweb and there was not any impact marks where something could have hit the glass.

I was entering an onramp at about 15mph; a car yielded in front of me. I hit my brakes and yet slid into the rear of the front car. I did not stop, even with brakes applied, and slid in to the front acre. No airbags deployed and my kia was totaled and undrivable.

The kia Forte caught fire as my husband was driving down the interstate (the car was in motion). We had only had the car for just over a year. I am unsure what caused the fire however, the insurance reviewer advise that the fire started in the engine. My husband barley made it out of the car before the inside was completely engulfed in flames. The car was a complete loss it was hardly recognizable once the fire department was able to get the fire out.

Paint delamination issue. We are original owners. Car only has 64,766 miles as of today, 1/09/22. Affected areas are hood, roof, both side mirrors and all four door handles.

I was involved in a fairly serious front end collision and the airbags did not deploy. The impact was at the right front frame rail and corner. The impact was enough to push a full sized Chevrolet pick up sideways approx. 6 feet. I was traveling at approx 35-40 mph in a straight line when the truck pulled out straight across the road in front of me causing me to collide with it broadside at the trucks left front wheel area.

Trunk's push-button rubber covering crumbled off over the course of a year and the trunk hasn't opened since. There is no other way to open my trunk. I am unable to change my tire or get my tire repair kit in the event of a flat because all of the materials are in the compartment under the trunk's covering.

Takata recall, door cover to the gas cap snapped off, cover broke at the hinge (inside the compartment) , now, in order to release it you must use the release lever, plus partial prying of the cover itself. Car was stationary, at the fuel pump.

One day, driving down the interstate in 2017. My husband rolled down the driver's side window. While going 60mph, the door opened. After that, the door would not open from the inside or outside. . We took it upon ourselves to try to fix it, and were able to fix the mechanism that allows us to open from the inside, but it still will not open from the outside.

Rain water is entering trunk/spare tire compartment area. Causing puddling and rear seat water damage.

Too much accleration on the open highway. The screws in my visors keep coming out. I was only given a donut tire upon purchase. The paint on the car is so cheap I'm seeing scratches all thru the paint on my car.

Traveling 45 to 55 mph ran into four large deers and ran off road. Damage front of car. Air bag light came on but did not flate. I substain severe shoulder injury.

When driving straight along an interstate with my cruise control set to the speed limit, a loud bang came from under the hood of my kia, the check engine indicator turned on, and smoke began to pour out from under the hood and inside my car through the air vents. When I pushed the gas pedal gently, there was a low guttural noise and my car was not picking up speed. I put my car into neutral and coasted to the shoulder with low visibility as the smoke became more dense and darker in color. I brought my vehicle to a full stop on the shoulder and put it into park before turning it off and removing my key from the ignition. Upon exiting the car I noticed the smoke was even more intense than before and promptly called 911 and gave my location and situation information to the 911 representative. As I was speaking, I narrated in horror as flames became visible from under the car itself and under the hood as well, in as little as one minute after exiting my car. By the time the fire department got to the vehicle, the flames were over 20 feet tall and the heat was unbearable; I relocated myself farther and farther away to stay cool and safe as the time went on. Nobody was burned, hurt, or injured as a result of the incident, but only my mere coincidence.

I rear-end a SUV at 50 miles per hour, hit my nose and mouth on the steering wheel. The front end is severely damage, the engine caught fire, fluids were leaking but neither air bag deployed.

Tl-the contact owns a 2012 kia Forte. The contact stated that the vehicle caught fire as he walked outside. The contact noticed that the vehicle's windows were black from the residue of the fire. The vehicle was destroyed. The vehicle was towed. There was no police report filed. The fire went out before the firefighters were called. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 54,000. Ad.

2014 kia Forte koup sx, brand new. The side windows are frameless on the koup, and must drop 1/4 of an inch to open the door, and raise back up to close and form a tight seal against the door sill. When windows have frost or ice on them they will not drop the required 1/4 of an inch for the door to open or close. Only after the car warms will the windows lower and raise properly.

Tl-the contact owns a 2015 kia Forte. The contact stated the front driver was closed and a loud abnormal explosion noise came from the back seat. The rear windshield window exploded and glass shattered. The outside tempature was within thirty degrees. The vehicle was towed the contact's resident. The vehicle was not diagnosed. The vehicle was purchased brand new last week. The manufacturer was notified of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 108. Jb.

Vehicle was involved in a random shooting causing the vehicle to have driver side door panel, window, seat, and side view mirror song with driver side back seat windows. Also public service announcement of recall for 2014 kia Forte heating,air systems under the hood car does not blow out of all vents.

The front bumper is falling down. I bought the car in September and its had a blow out on the right back tire,and the bumper is falling down. Kia said the clips on both sides were breaking. They dont want to fix it under warranty!!!! they said it had to be my fault. How can that be??? there is no way I did anything to make the clips fall off!!! its $1,000 to have it fixed. I have had a lot of problems with this car in just under a year old.

300 miles after complaining to dealer of slipping floor mat stopping braking and random high acceleration-a real accident occurred against a barrier in a parking garage. Mats flip far more that Audi and Toyota recalls. Entire car damaged by previous accelation(random) or brakes not working due to mats. The parking garage incident occurred at 15 mph and square head on to cement barrier severely damaging bumper, hood, fenders, grill, headlights and interior engine. I injured both arms and skin abrasions on chest-due to airbag not deploying-similiar to recent recalls. Dealer response was that floor mats always give away from wear and tear at 17k miles without warning-causing me near fatal other accidents.

Previously, there was a recall for under body rust. I had that fixed. However, the rust problem extends to the paint job and little orange dots of rust have been on the vehicle in many places.

I was in a three vehicle accident as the third car. I hit the car in front of me and in turn caused that vehicle to hit the vehicle in front of him. I had the brakes pressed down all the way to the floor and still couldn't stop in time to prevent impact, there were not even any skid marks on the pavement. The impact was so strong that my back seats folded down and the things I had in my trunk flew forward and hit the back of the driver seat. I had glass bottles of drinks in the trunk and they were all busted in the floorboard from being thrown through the back seat that folded down. Fire and rescue had to open my door to let me out of the vehicle because I tried to get out and couldn't pry the door open. To me that is a hard impact, I was injured and still seeking medical attention. My concern is with a frontal impact of such force, none of my airbags deployed! my accident has already happened and I am hurt but I don't want that to happen to anyone else. Luckily I was wearing my safety belt because my airbags certainly didn't protect me. I made a complaint with kia and there representative told me. . . "MA'am with your vehicle, you have "Smart airbags" they only deploy in a catastrophic event. " how can the car tell what is a catastrophic event. . . My 8 year old could have been in that back seat that folded or even my newborn niece that I care for, that could have been not only catastrophic but fatal!!! what can be done about this? please help, I don't want someone else to suffer.

Scratches under the driver side door on car purchased as new may indicate prior use and odometer tamper.

I was hit head-on at 65mph and my airbags failed to deploy. It has caused me horrible injuries including a cervical neck fusion, bilateral sacroiliac joint fusions, necessity of a total hysterectomy due to my uterus & felopian tubes perforating, gastric adhesions and a total knee replacement. I hold kia responsible. I had confidence that I would be safe in my 2011 kia Forte. I lost my very essence of being a woman because my airbags failed after being clobbered head-on by a full-size pick-up truck. Most frustrating is the constant pain and suffering, added to my already a 100% disabled navy veteran.
