Tire Problems of Kia Motor Forte

We are having to replace tires every two years and we don’t put a lot of mileage on car maybe 10000 a year this car does something to tire and no one can explain it I have aligned my vehicle do rotate them and still it’s like they eat any type of tire.

I purchased my 2021 kia Forte and have had it for only 6 months. The tires are new and the size are 225/45/r17 majestic solus tires both tires front driver side and back driver side exploded at the same time. I was driving when both tires went exploded at the same time. I thought at first maybe I went over a nail, then when I pulled over I saw both tires had torn in half, the tires looked like they are shredded. I have taken a picture of the road and direction and the street was cleared. I had to take to the kia dealership to have them both replaced. Very upset had to pay for 2 tires. At first they thought I had went over something although when you look at the tires both have the same type of damage. I was driving when this happened I was worried I could have caused an accident. Please everyone be safe and careful. I am out money because of these tires. . New car no reason for this to happen. These tires need to be reinspected.

I needed to take my car in to the mechanic to repair a tire that had a nail in it. While repairing the tire, I asked him to also check the tread of the tires. He preceded to tell me that the treads were still good, but what concerned him was the tread separation, cracking, and dry rot that the tires had. He said they definitely need replaced but not because of tread. He told me to look in to it because he felt they were defective.

While driving a 2012 kia Forte ex with 21000 miles and nexen 195/65/15 cp671 tires,, a front tire separation occurred while driving at highway speed. 10 days later a rear tire separation occurred also during normal highway driving.

Tl- the contact owns a 2014 kia Forte equipped with 4 nexen cp671, tires size p215/45/r17, dot 8e0kmbcr1013. The contact stated that while driving at unknown speed, the passenger side front tire developed a blister and eventually went flat. The contact replaced the tire with the same model but experienced the same failure. The cause of the failures was not diagnosed. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 40. Pam.

Vehicle was slowly losing pressure in all four tires for about one week prior to incident. Failure of driver's front tire occurred while driving to service station approximately eight miles after inspection of pressure. Service inspection after the incident found that all four sensors were leaking. Tires had less then three thousand miles of wear at the time of the incident.

The tire deflate rapidly when driving at 70mph on freeway. When in the tire shop technician reveled there was no puncture but the stem was missing. After removing the tire the stem was found inside the tire with visible corrosion signs. By inspecting the rest of the stem, was found that all three stem supporting nuts have traces of corrosion but one of them on the passenger front wheel the nut was cracked. We concluded as cause of the problem was the crack in the nut that secure the stem in position. The failure can be verified by the corrosion mars present of the failed wheel stem. Front tires on 2010 kia Forte koup was worn so severely on the inside edge the cords was showing. Took it back to dealership to have alignment checked. Dealer advised alignment was within specs. You can not see the tire wearing unless you get under the car and look at the inside edge. The rest of the tires still look in good condition.
