While I am driving it is hard shifting and idling high, sometimes it doesn't want to pick up speed when starting from a stop. The wheels locked up going down a off ramp. There are no warning lights or anything on the dash. I will have it checked Monday but this started out of the blue. I have had regular maintenance on the vehicle and have all my receipts for proof. This is a serious issue especially with the wheels not functioning right and speed control is fluctuating.

I was driving and the rear wheel broke off rendering the vehicle not able to be driven and at the same time if I had been on the highway, I could have been killed. In addition 2 wheel bearings were also been found to be defective. When I called Nissan, the agents stated that this was not the concern of Nissan and would not pay for the defective parts.

We have contacted the kia dealer where we bought the car multiple times about brake issues. The car was still under warranty. Well today it happened. When my husband hit the brakes the car pulled to one side, almost flipped and hit a guard rail.

On 2/19/2021 I was driving on the hwy and the car was losing power. I don't drive it that much so wasn't sure if it was just me. But as I pulled into a drive thru and was coming to a stop, the car was idling a little rough and the engine was ticking and lightly knocking. Also here is a list of continuing issues that we have had over the years since we bought the car brand new with like 12 miles on it. The rear passenger window has never worked. The radio bluetooth always had connectivity issues. Then the tire pressure warning light appeared and is still on. The tire shop said it might be a defective tire sensor back passenger. The airbag light is always on now. Then the radio antenna fell off the roof, I glued it back on. Recently the buttons on the steering wheel have not been functioning properly, or not at all. And the driver window button does whatever it wants to do, sometimes it will work with some light finesse.

While driving on highway, dashboard alerted to front end collision warnings but I was not in a collision then moments later the front driver side tire blew causing body damage to the bumper and guards, totally shredding the tire. The car has only 18,500 miles and tires were properly inflated. Normal driving use. Tires are made by kumho and the car is a kia Forte. I have seen other complaints of these specific brand tires blowing out around 20,000 miles even though they are guaranteed for 70,000 miles. Unfortunately blow outs, bubbles, etc are all not covered under tire warranty or under car warranty. Very disappointing and very dangerous.
Pulling out drive way going to the left felt like passenger wheel was locking up and does it quite a bit. Also ntb in cleveland, TN said there was lots wrong with under neath , also it still feels like it's running after being cut off. And it has a rim that is cracked and when I got it I thought it needed tires cause I had to air tire every day or so but now it's more than a few times daily and I just learned how unsafe that is to be driving for my kids and I but for others as well.

My engine light keeps coming on , now it's saying that it's something different every time . Started my car up the next day then the light will go out . Something isn't right . My brakes are acting weird , and tire light keeps coming on .
When I hit between 60-80 miles my car starts pulling and feels like the alignment is not good. I had the alignment done still doing the same thing I don't like the way it feels and sometimes I feel like I will get pulled over because it appears I'm swerving. On highway and as long as driving between 60 - 80 .
On two occasions I have had the tires blowout on my vehicle. Once while driving and the other occasion while my vehicle was parked in the garage and had not been moved for three days. My vehicle only has 27,000 miles and hardly any thread wear. The tires are kumho 205/r16 55.

The belt in the drivers rear tire separated having to be replaced being under 3 years old this is not the only 2016 kia Forte lx this has happened to I've read several complaints on the internet that has happened to other owners.
I was driving on route 77 in charlotte at approximately 60 mph. While driving, my wheel had a structural failure. I retraced my route and do not see anything on the route (I. E. Major obstacle). Regardless, this failure is completely unacceptable. I have had other cars in the past and have run over substantial road debris and never had the wheel almost come off of the car.
I was going 65mph on highway, when all of sudden, I heard a loud pop anf car started shaking. The hazard light came on and low tire pressure as I was trying to carefully exit hwy. My driver side tire was completely busted. This is the second tire that has blown. Last year it was my front passenger tire. I bought this car new and it only had 12miles on it when purchased. My car curreny had less than 20 000 miles on it. . . In both events, I did not run over anyything nor observed any potholes or uneven road.
April 2018, I purchased the kia Forte from bulldog kia-athens GA. Two weeks later the tire sensor light came on. The kia was driven to the bulldog constantly. Air pressure checked each time. Aptil 10, 2019 the tire sensor light came on, passenger front tire blewout and damaged rim while in motion. The car was towed from winder hwy: winder GA to bulldog kia. Thr car set over 30 days. I involved gainsco my auto insurance on April 24, 2018. There was damaged done to my car prior to filing an insurance claim. When the gainsco adjuster called on April 27, the service manager said that he couldn't locate my car. The adjuster arrived at bulldog kia. The adjuster said that my car was in a wreck because the added damage while car was parked in bulldog kia's lot. May. 1st, I personally had my car towed from bulldog kia. Cost one was $533 paid at bulldog kia may 1st, 2019. Upon removal, the rear passenger rim was bent and pulled away from the tire. 76 auto repair repaired passenger rear rim and tire: test driven kia, srnsor came checked driver rim and tire-rear front rim was cracked-and was repaired. Cost two $434. 00 paid may 26, 2019. I was without transportation over 30 days and have photos and receipts.

I went to the dealership for a recall on 03/01/2019, they changed tire valve stems and acu extension. When they finally finished working on my car. I left and was driving home so I took the 60 freeway and while I was on the freeway my car started shaking and I almost lost control and a car almost hit me because of that. I complained to the service manager about what had just happened to my car. The manager later comes to me and tells me the problem was due to cracked tires and that's why my tire went flat but I told the manager that doesn't make sense since my tires are in good condition and also if my tires were all cracked then why did only one tire lose air and not all of them? also the service advisor mentioned to me that same morning that the technician wasn't able to open the hood to my car and I found that very weird since a week prior to that I had opened the hood to my car with no problem and everything was fine. I went to the mechanic today and the mechanic told me the tire they gave me was a cheap brand tire and my tires were not cracked and that there was nothing wrong with my hood, when the mechanic opened the hood he found that the motor cover was completely cracked in half. I believe the technician somehow cracked it in half while checking my car and lied afterwards and made that statement about the hood not opening, I had to purchase a new motor cover. The manager was lying and covering for the mistakes his technician made. The mechanic made a notation on my receipt and agreed with me about the service department at the dealership was lying to cover for the mistakes the technician made. I was very dissatisfied with the lies they made up about my car to cover up their mistakes, the poor customer service given to me and the negligence they showed me especially since my safety was at jeopardy since I almost crashed after they worked on my car.
My daughter was driving on route 55 in NJ and the right rear tire popped and she pulled off the highway into the shoulder. A driver for njdot arrived and told us the tire was dry rotted. We had the car towed to the dealership who told us the tire wasnt defective. I'm not an expert but I feel the tire may be defective. The car only has 20,00 miles and we had the car in a week prior and the tires were written up as having 8/32". Nexen tire. Please look at pictures enclosed. Please note we have the defective tire in our possession along with a another tire from the vehicle.
I bought this car 2 months ago and they never told me it doesnt come with a donut or spare tire . . . . . . This is unsafe.
I was driving my car at 60 mph on the freeway when I experienced a spontaneous rear right tire blowout. There were no potholes. I didn't hit anything. The service department at the dealership could find no cause. They said it was a "fluke".
I experienced 2 spontaneous tire blowouts, on 8/25/18 and 10/4/18. I had had the tires rotated and checked on 8/23/18. Nexen has not responded to my numerous attempts to get this resolved.
Was going over a set of rr tracks and the drivers side tire blew. Had car towed to kia dealer that I purchased vehicle from in March of 2017. After inspection I learn from the kia dealer the wheel/rim had cracks in it, they tell me they believe the car was sold to me this way. I do have wheel and tire warranty package. Kia is flat refusing to fix other damages to the vehicle. Plastic liner in fender well, a tpms sensor and one other thing I forget what the service department said to me it was. They want me to claim on my insurance I said no your failed wheel with the crack damaged the car you fix it. Kia corporate is flat out refusing to fix the car even though the dealer can prove the car was sold new with a failed wheel/rim on it.
My tires are in good shape but I keep getting notifications indicating I have low tires pressure. I got it checked out and the tires have the proper amount of air. Even after getting the sensors reset, I still get this notification. Now the tpms stays on whether I'm traveling or just stationary.
The contact owns a 2016 kia Forte. The contact stated that there was no spare tire from the initial purchase of the vehicle. In addition, while driving, there was an abnormal noise that progressed under the vehicle. The rear driver's side tire prematurely fractured. The dealer (classic Chevrolet, 1-(888) 981-6002) had been unable to determine what caused the failure and replaced the tire. The manufacturer was notified after the failure occurred. The VIN was not available. The approximate failure mileage was 38,000.
Too much accleration on the open highway. The screws in my visors keep coming out. I was only given a donut tire upon purchase. The paint on the car is so cheap I'm seeing scratches all thru the paint on my car.
Purchase kia Forte 2016 ex on 11/2016. . . . All four of the tires form bulges on each tire. . . Which the tires to blow out on the highway. My first pair of tires located at the rear blew out in 03/2016 which cause me to purchase brand new tires. . . . . My most recent tires was the front tires. . . Which I a blowout in occurred on the highway in 09/2016.
The low tire pressure is always on even when I check the tires pressure and it right. . The brakes are always squicking.
I tried backing out, turned my wheels and wasn't able to. Heard a loud pop underneath, then the whole front right of my car sunk in. Tried backing out, but the car was not able to move at all. I put it in park and went outside to see what it was. Hubcap was gone, and the front passenger wheel looked like it sunk into the car. It looked like the weight of the car was sitting on that one wheel. It seems like the tire rod might have broken. Before, I would hear a creaking sound when I pressed on the break, it was louder when the roads were wet. It's a 2013 kia Forte with only 47k miles on it.
I have had 3 tire pressure monitor stems crack and disappear into the tire causing a flat at 3 separate occasions. The first time was at 38,000 miles, the last 2 were at 76,000 and within a week of each other. I called kia but they stated I have to have kia examine them. The first time kia told me that this just happens and charged me $200. I went to mavis tire the 2nd time and they replaced it for $83. I called kia today after the 3rd time and they told me to go to the dealer.
For the second time on this vehicle the metal stem for the tpsm has broken off, deflating the tire. This time while inflating the tire, the first while parked,. Had this occurred at highway speeds an accident may have occurred kia dealer advises they are not covered under warranty even though they are "safety" equipment.
I have been driving my 2014 kia Forte ex for almost 2 years now. Leased it brand new the day it landed on the lot. I only drive it to work and back as we have a 2014 kia sorento we do all our family travelling in. I took the Forte to the dealership today as I was having issues with the bluetooth, the check engine light was on and there was a hollow tumbling sound coming from the rear of the car. Upon inspection the service associate informed me that the tires were tore up. I explained to them that the car only had 33500 miles on it and I had brought it in at 6000 miles to have the alignment fixed because it was off then as well. The mechanic checked the alignment today and told us the rear axle is not right, looks like it came off the assembly line that way. As this time kia doesn't know what they can do for me, but the car is still brand new, they need to make it right!.
Tire pressure monitoring stem broke off when tire was being repaired. Mechanic says other valve stems on the car are also fraying and could break. Car has less than 60,000k miles. Stem fragility poses an immediate and very dangerous threat to safety.
Tl-the contact owns a 2014 kia Forte. The contact stated that after the vehicle was started, the tire pressure monitor system warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the tire pressure sensor assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where the tire pressure sensor assembly was replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 10,000. Ss.
Vehicle was involved in a random shooting causing the vehicle to have driver side door panel, window, seat, and side view mirror song with driver side back seat windows. Also public service announcement of recall for 2014 kia Forte heating, air systems under the hood car does not blow out of all vents.
