Tl-the contact owns a 2008 kia Optima lx 4cyl auto. The contact stated that while parked waiting to have his oil change, the contact shift from park neutral. The contact placed the shifter into park again whihc failed to engaged. No warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed by a triple-a to a independent mechanic who diagnosed the vehicle and stated that the shifter cable disconnected from the shifter. The vehicle was not repaired.
