1 Brake Light problem

Failure Date: 07/07/2020

Tl-the contact owns a 2011 kia Optima sx turbo 4cyl. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds the rear brake light failed to illuminated properly as the brake pedal is depressed. Traction control warning illuminated. The contact mentioned that when the ignition is on the transmission shifter became default to move without applying the brakes. The vehicle has an appointment at the dealer bob bell kia of baltimore 7900 eastern Ave, baltimore, MD 21224 to date 9/23/2020 for a diagnosed test to be ran. The vehicle has not been seen or diagnosed as of yet. The contact mentioned NHTSA campaign number: 13v114000 service brakes, hydraulic, exterior lighting as a possible solution to the failure that occurred however the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000. Ck.

2 Brake Light problem

Failure Date: 09/25/2015

Steering wheel has a clicking sound when turning. Bought it into a collision center, the technician said that it was a service recall on Optima. He knew that sound before I described it to him. Brake light bulb blows as soon as you put them in. The tech said there was a problem with the electrical system.
