Engine failure, high oil consumption, already failed to operate properly on interstate, dealership said nothing was wrong and charged me $160. Two months later, the vehicle failed again, but this time the engine sounded like it was going to blow and barely made it off the road.
Vehicle purchase July 20th 2023 with new oil change per carvana. On August 7th 2023, check engine light appears. Car was taken to a local shop. No oil and some other issues found. "issues fixed. ". On September 13th oil light comes on. Again, taken to car shop, no oil. Oil topped off again. Car is not maintaining oil.
Car is burning to much oil and have to change oil every three thousand miles.
April 30, 2023 my 2020 kia Optima was stolen. The thief or thieves broke my backside passenger window to get inside. Once inside they started my car using a usb cord/ charger block. I purchased the car in Feb 2023. I wasn't aware of made aware the car's antitheft software needed to be upgraded which would've deterred or made it difficult for thieves to steal it. I wasn't notified by the dealership nor kia about this needed upgrade. My insurance has denied my claim and I'm stuck paying for damages well over $4000. What can I do to prevent my car from being stolen again should I decided to keep it? I've reached out to the dealership where I purchased the car and kia neither of them were concerned nor had answers.
On my vehicle kia, Optima, 2019 vehicle the latch on the hood broke for the second time. The first time took it to the kia, place where I purchase the vehicle. Jim shorkey in irwin PA. They could not open the hood. I needed oil in my car. I don't know where the oil is going! took to my mechanic he had to go under the car to release the latch. This is the second time. I keep paying, this is not fair!!!!!! the warning light for oil!!!!.
My car had been consuming 2 quarts every 1,000 miles for the past 3-4 months and the kia dealership told me that the best thing I could do is keep getting an oil change. So one day I tried starting my car and it starting shaking and turned off so I turned it back on and it shut off again. I jump started it and it shut off again and I jump started it again but it never turned on. All of the problems that I have has been confirmed by the dealership (open road automotive) my engine is all the way messed up, my fuel pump was messed up . My engine light came on after this and I just keep having problems with my car. I seen that kia keeps having these problems but I chose to get my car anyways because I love kias cars but I will have to switch if these problems are not solved with my car and I get new parts on my car because these are failing parts not because of me. I’m having so many problems with my car right now and it’s been costing me a lot of money . It’s at the shop right now and it’s been at the shop for maybe 2 weeks now. I can’t get a rental because they are only covering $40 a day and they are charging me $200 a day. So please help me with these problems and get these problems fixed.
Paint is peeling off my white 2015 kia Optima on the passenger side, trunk and driver and passenger front pillars. The paint is peeling from underneath the paint at the base of the vehicle. This is obviously a paint defect and unacceptable. I was told by multiple auto paint body shops that "the paint did not fuse with the primer which is causing the paint to bubble and peel". Kia is telling consumers to put in a claim and send pictures, sales contracts and paint estimates etc. And then deny the claim. However, I know for a fact that they are picking and choosing which claims to take care of. My claim was denied but I refuse to accept this and asked for a case manager to call me directly to discuss further. I am suppose to get a call back within a 5 to 7 days. Kia is a billion dollar business with millions of kia vehicles sold and for them not to take responsibility for there manufacturing defect is very bad business and I expect more from them. I spent hard earned money for my car that looks horrible and I am embarrassed to drive in and drive my clients in. I am not happy at how kia is handling this matter and consumers of kia deserve better treatment.
All 4 windows in my car has dropped down and won't go back up. Have to put a car cover over it to keep it from raining in it or to keep anything else out of it. I rarely rolled my windows down in this car every since I have purchased it and all of a sudden all the windows just drops down. This is a defect on the company part and not mine and I want to find out why I never received a recall letter to this effect for I have seen and read that there were cars recalled for the same problem that I am having with mine.
Headlights very dim . Replaced bulbs . Replaced wiring harness. Replaced alternater . Still dim . Cannot see more than a few feet at night. Have heard this is a common problem . Would like any info to correct problem . No longer safe to drive vehicle at night. Please reply ASAP.
Driving on highway 54 all of a sudden vehicle seized up on me at 75 mph in the dead of night, steering was difficult to control and hit an object while trying to stop off the highway in a blind curve! was stranded for 6 hours until local shop towed vehicle and replaced condenser-radiator-fan ( object was debris on side of highway) could not get car going and a smell of electrical short coming from under hood. Have not been able to fix problem and have spent 11 days in carrizozo nm trying with bewildered mechanics to get me back on the road. They replaced starter -fan-radiator-condenser-changed fluids (motor & transmission) to find out motor unable to reset. I’ve spent over 6,000. 00 dollars in motel-tows-parts -labor -due to this vehicle. I found out of recall when I was told to buy an engine. This car almost took my life due to sudden engine failure on the highway in the am hours.
My (pearl) white 2013 kia Optima is peeling paint from its front hood and a-pillars. This has been happening since I first bought it in 2018. My car had 55k miles on it and has never been in an accident. I have taken it to the kia dealership of fishers with no success. They lied to me! each time, I was told that my car had been previously painted by someone else, and that business did a bad paint job. I have been to kia of fishers 3 different times about this concern. There are many, many sites and now several class action suites pending against kia for this problem. I want my car repainted. The paint on the vehicle is badly peeling due to defective primer. Thousands of other have the same issues from what I see in parking lots. I have gotten it fixed but it doesn't hold up due to primer.
