2008 kia Rondo. Consumer writes in regards to defective part the consumer stated she had difficulty starting the vehicle after filling the gas tank and the check engine light was constantly on due to an issue with a defective valve on the charcoal canister. The consumer discovered a recall had been issued for the exact part, she was having a problem with. The consumer made an appointment with the dealer after describing the problem. However, when she arrived and her vehicle identification number was entered, she was then informed her vehicle was not included in the recall. The consumer referenced recall # 08v459000.
