Wheel problem #2

Coming back from wisconsin the left front coil spring busted and shredded the inside of the left front tire blowing it out traveling at 65 miles per hour. I had seen on the internet that hyundies and kia were noted for there defectiive front coil spring breaking and causing damage to tires and possibly wrecks. I called the kia dealership in quincy, illinois and he told me the parts were no longer under warranty and I would have to pay for parts and labor to fix my vehicle. This has already cost me $240. 00 for 2 new front tires on my vehicle. I feel this is unfair due to the fact that possibly these front coil springs were of defective weak foreign material and should be investigated for the sake of peoples lives.

Wheel problem #3

Driving car on freeway and a loud noise came from the left wheel. Slow down noise lower but not has stop. Repair man says I need wheel bearings. I wonder if there were a recall for the wheel bearings that I don't know about . Has there be an a tech service bulletin issued on this type of problem? I was also told my brakes wear unevenly so a get a shaking in the steering wheel.

Wheel problem #4

I own a 2007 kia Rondo. We bought the car new with 6 miles on it. In less than 4 years we have put brakes on this car 2 times. Our mechanic says this is a definate design flaw. The sliding mechanisms in the kia brakes collects rust inside the brake and hardens and prematurely wears the brakes. Less than 2 years ago I paid for my 1st set of brakes. Now I am replacing all 4 brakes! this will cost over $800! my front brakes are down to nothing again. This is a safety hazard! I have spoken to other kia owners and they have break issues too. You go to a dealer and they either deny it or say well that's a kia. I will keep the brakes for this replacement if you would be interested in viewing them. Another thing no parts are available so the cost are increased.

Wheel problem #5

Defective aluminum factory wheels - 2007 kia Rondo ex. I was driving on a four-lane divided highway (u. S. Highway 11, southbound, 2 miles north of kinston, north carolina). Speed was approx. 55 mph. I moved to the passing lane to overtake a tractor trailer truck. I immediately came upon some road debris in the passing lane and the tires on the left side of the car drove over some of it . None of it appeared larger than 2x4 lumber. The debris, probably items that fell off of a contractor's truck, bent both wheel rims on the driver's side letting the air out of the tires. I temporarily lost control of the car. I grabbed onto the steering wheel to stay on the road. I steered the car toward the right lane, and coasted until the speed came down below 25 mph. Had I hit the brakes I believe the car might have rolled over. I pulled over and parked on the right side of the road and called for help.
