Hi my van started smell a lot to fuel so I looked for leaks and I found a big leak on the fuel rail rack dripping a lot of fuel on the side of engine when engine is running and the car is unsafe to drive and I’m very worried about this problem. This happened after my car stalled on the street and it never wanted to start again and when I make it start again it started smell gas.
My air bag light is on and I talk to kia about it they want to charge me a price for to take it off I hae a wheel bearing promble to. I had to get my wheel bearing repair to.
Tl- the contact owns a 2005 kia Sedona van. The contact stated while driving 55 mph the vehicle sun roof detached which almost result in an accident. The vehicle happened without warning. In addition the vehicle had experienced moderate corrosion around the doors and the interior of the vehicle. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacter was not notified of the failure. The vehicle failure mileage was approximately 140,000. Kh.
The coolent line coroded and leaked coolent which made the vehicle run hot and stop. I was lucky to be near a gas station and got off of the road. I called aaa for a tow. The dealer would not warranty the coolent line stating it is a maintenance issue. Maintenance issue? how can the general consumer know that the coolent line that runs under the vehicle is a maintenance issue and not covered under the makers warranty.
The contact owns a 2005 kia Sedona. While driving 35 mph the vehicle crashed into the rear of another vehicle which caused the middle row seats to detach from the floor and slam into the front seats. The vehicle was towed to the repair shop. They stated that the plastic latch broke. There are pictures available if needed. The current and failure mileages were 27,000.

Dt:consumer received recall letter on June 15, 2005, and the dealer said he did not have the kit to do recall repairs. Consumer wanted to take vehicle on trip on June 23, 2005 and was concerned that dealer will not have repairs done in time, and vehicle may not be safe. Consumer contacted manufacturer, and they wanted him to call back. Consumer wanted to take vehicle on trip if possible.
Took my 2005 kia Sedona van in for the 7 time since 12/2004 to have brakes replaced. Spoke with the service techs and they say that kia seems to have a problem with the front braking system on this vehicle, and is aware of the problem. The manufactor tells the service dept. To just keep replacing them. I am worried about the safety of my family when driving this vehicle. The dealership service department has replaced the braking system many times, but the Kia Motors refuses to acknowledge the problem.
