The contact stated that when he had pulled into a rest stop he noted that the rear brake lights were still illuminated even though he had turned the vehicle off and had placed it in park (p). The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the brake stop and brake stop lamp switch needed to be replaced. The contact stated that he related the failure to a previously repaired recall for NHTSA campaign number: 13v114000 (exterior lighting). The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 115,000.
Break switch sticking causing the break lights to stay on , esc doesn't work causing the accelerator to stop working and the cruise control stops working. I was pulling out from a stop and my vehicle would not go above an idle. I had to stop in the middle of the road, put the vehicle into neutral before I could continue on my way.
