18 problems related to brake foundation components have been reported for the 1997 Kia Motor Sephia. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

When applying brakes, holds slowly and pedal goes all way down to floor . Dealership is aware of problem.
While driving at any speed and applying brakes, brakes are soft and go half way to the floorboard. Also, there is a squeaking noise coming from the brakes.

When traveling at 45 mph pushed the brake pedal and nothing happened. The emergency brake stopped the vehicle. Dealer contacted, and has no solution to the problem.
