The brake pedal went all the way down to the floor. Speed was undetermined, causing the vehicle to collide with a guardrail. There were no injuries to report at this time, the victim went to the hospital for observation.

Consumer was traveling at approximately 30 mph and approaching a stop light. When she attempted to apply brakes, brake pedal had no resistance behind it, and went directly to floor when pressed. Consumer took vehicle out of gear and coasted through light. After this incident, brakes worked properly. Dealership was in possession of vehicle, and was repairing an unknown component in vehicle.

5 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Failure Date: 11/15/2000

Various problems with a new vehicle within fourteen months. Complete brake system was replaced/ battery was replaced, and driver's side window was leaking air. Dealer notified, and repairs were done. Please feel free to provide any further details on this matter.
