general problems of the 2005 Kia Motor Sorento

The contact stated that while reversing the vehicle from a parking space and putting the gear shift into the drive position the vehicle began to accelerate forward causing the vehicle to collide into a parked vehicle. The brakes failed while being depressed. The contact also stated that the passenger side of the vehicle sustained major damage. A police report was not filed. No injuries where sustained. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired for the failure. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 48,000. Ec.
