I went in to the burlington, wa kia dealership for this recall fix. And after waiting an hour they tell me they don't have the right part. It's now been about a month later and I'm still waiting to hear when the part will be available. I don't think this is ok for a safety issue.

I just received a recall on my kia sorrento, it says it is due to a electrical anti lock break system. And followed by this letter my light does stay on for this part and other lights are on too do to this. I'm scared to death to drive this kia now. I think for this kind of problem, they should recall the entire vehical. And give me a brand new kia sorrento. Because this is life or death,and this is the only vehical I have to take care of my daughter. To school and doctor, or what ever her needs and mine are. I am a single mother on a fixed income and I'm very scared for mine and my child's life or who rides with us. So I think kia dealership should take my kia that's recalled and give me a new one for that. I travel alot everyday and I need a dependable vehical and shouldn't have to worry about my family's safety for using my kia.
Nhtsa site does not yet reflect that NHTSA recall #: 20v088 affects my vehicle. Your site, which issued that recall states that there are 0 unresolved recalls for my vehicle, but my vehicle has not yet been serviced for that recall. The NHTSA site needs to be updated regarding this recall dated March 25, 2020, with dealer service responses commencing April 10, 2020. Mailed recall notice received from kia. Tl- the contact owns a 2007 kia Sorento. The contact stated that while driving approximately 55 mph the brake pedal extended to the floor while attempting to stop the vehicle causing the vehicle to crash into the rear of a second vehicle. During the incident the front end was severely damaged but the air bag did not deploy. The driver sustained an injured right ankle. A police report was taken at the scene and the vehicle was towed away. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failures. The failure mileage was 112,600. Jft.

The vehicle was taken to local dealer kia of vero beach located at 1105 s, us-1, vero beach, FL 32962, (772) 291-0624 to have NHTSA campaign number: 20v088000 ( electrical system, service brakes, hydraulic) and were made aware of the failure. The vehicle was taken to independent mechanic and was informed the abs control module was needing to be replace. The vehicle had not been diagnosed or repaired as of yet. The manufacturer had not been informed of failure. The failure mileage was unknown. Dp.
This is the second time in about two years I have had warped rotors on the front brakes on my kia. This problem have could be dangerous for the inexperienced driver and or deadly for the inattentive driver. When applying brakes the front wheels wobble at speeds above 45 when apply brakes.
Warp rotors on vehicle occurs every 3000 - 6000 miles of driving car. Consequence: car wheels vibrate heavily when attempting to stop vehicle part were turned and then replaced and problem continues to recur.
I have taken this vehicle to the purchasing dealer 7 times for multiple issues including transmission or torque converter difficulty switching gears, the main wiring harness fell down into the dash, poor braking performance. The major issue has been the random, but daily esc off light coming on and off. The dealer seems either unwilling or incapable of correcting this issue. I have filed a customer service request we kia two weeks ago, randy ext 45295 kia customer service assured me he would ¿get back to me¿ in two business days. Today is the seventh business day and no reply. It¿s my opinion that the esc issue, wiring harness, and poor braking are issues that should be address in via recall since kia customer service and warranty commitment are meaning less to kia corporation.
