The contact owns a 2008 kia Sorento. The contact stated that the passenger side air bag light illuminated even when someone was seated in the passenger seat. The dealer replaced the seat cushion three times but the failure continued. The dealer scanned the sensor but the failure continued. The contact also stated that the tire pressure monitoring system light also illuminated. The dealer cleared the memory and the light turned off for two months but illuminated again. The failure mileage was 15,000 and the current mileage was 45,000. Updated 5/2/11 the consumer stated he has been to the dealer numerous times, but the air bag light continues to illuminate. 2008 kia serento tpms light comes and off came on the second day I owned the car comes on for a day then off for a day give or take a couple of days took it to dealer was clear then couldn't find nothing came back on just before arriving at home the same day took it back after a couple of days they said it was the sensor in the left rear tire had to order part after about two weeks took it back to have sensor replaced was not changed they said they would contact the manufacturer after re-testing it for the problem im still waiting thats now been 1 month.
