Low beam lights go off/on randomly. Sometimes will work for a while and then one or both lights will go out. When the dust cover is removed and the light socket assembly is touched, then light will come on. However, moving the wires or socket assembly does not cause light to go out. Then the light later randomly goes off. Also, I have replaced many low beam bulbs. This is a serious safety problem.
Low beam lights are dangerously dim. Constantly have to use high beams when safe to do so. Have to change them every six months or so because they one or the other stops working. Have had it checked out for this problem and they cannot find an issue. May have to trade this car in due to this dangerous situation. Very frustrating!.
I logged into credit karma looking at my car details and saw there was a recall on the traction. Ive noticed my traction light on in the car; however, did not think anything of it as the button was pushed in as normal. The light is on consistently.
Low bean headights are extremely dim. Can barely see road and obstacles at night and very difficult to see in rain. High beam headlights function normally. Low beam lights are significantly dimmer than when new. Headlamps are not fogged over. Have not been to dealer yet. Ther are no warning lights (mil) on dash or codes. Difficult to pinpoint when the condition started as it seems to have occured gradually.
My low beams are very dim and it is very hard to see the road at night. I can't see to drive at night.
Night time driving is difficult with the head lights. Brights are very bright and will light up 300+ feet. Normal lights will light up maybe 20ft. It is mainly challenging to see when there are no street lights or other vehicles on the road.
My complaint is the low beam on my 2015 kia Sorento has very poor visibility and burns out too frequently. My local kia dealer doesn't even carry the replacement bulb for this vehicle. Told me to go buy it at walmart, which I did. However, one burned out within 4 months (I changed both at the same time per recommendation). Bought replacement again (cost $37. 00) and before I had a chance to replace the other one burned out. I think this is a real safety issue due to the poor visibility (low lumens) and frequent burn out. Can you offer any advice? thank you.
When trying to start the car, everything flickers like the battery is dying, then it will crank, but now all of the lights are on and won't go off and it is dinging like the keys are still in the ignition, but they aren't.
My kia Sorento have problems. I took it in for a recall two weeks ago. Then the next day after that I have 2 more light come on. The abs light and some other light under that. Don't know what is the problem with that. Then my sensor for my tire is one . I have brand new tire. Also my head lights go out every two weeks this have been going on now for well over a year. Something is wrong with the car.
When my wife got this vehicle she told me she couldn't see the road at night I drove the vehicle and I couldn't see the road either so I went to kia and they placed new bulbs in there at first we thought everything was great but after a month it was back to being very dim at night. So I took it back to kia and they said it's your bulbs I'm like these are kia bulbs and so they recommended me to change the bulbs out so I did. Well once again after a month they were dim. I noticed the bulb burnt out . So I went to advance auto parts and bought new bulbs. The lights keep burning out so I believe there is something here that needs to be investigated whether it be electrical or something else. Thank you.
Keeps blowing out low beam head lites. Replaced four times in the last year. Took in to dealer to look at. Was told nothing they could do about it. I found out by online research that this is not just a couple reports. It is dangerous at nite we have to drive with daylites. Not bright enough for driving. It is a safety issue. Kia will not do anything to fix problem that is a safety issue. Needs government investigation before someone gets killed.
Lowlight beams are very dim. Poor visibility. Nhtsa ratings are poor. I’m concerned as to why kia will not fix the issue. There was no accident but for years I’ve been afraid to drive at night or avoid it. I’ve looked online and see I’m not the only kia Sorento owner with these concerns. This does make me regret purchasing kia and I tell everyone I know don’t buy this car.
The headlights are very dim on my 2015 kia Sorento, when compared to other vehicles. They only illuminate about 10 feet in front of the car. They need to be replaced with a stronger bulb as it is dangerous driving at night.
The contact owns a 2015 kia Sorento. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds the headlights were dim and failed to produce adequate lighting. There were no warning lights illuminated. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was approximately 16,000.
My vehicle's headlights are dim and do not light the roadway properly, even when they are turned to the bright setting. I am unable to drive it at night or during rainy weather. I have paid hundreds of dollars for replacement bulbs, trying to get the lights adjusted, and for refurbishing the covers. It is available for inspection at any time. With me being unable to see the road at night, it endangers myself and my passengers when driving. This can also result in a danger to other people or property if my vehicle fails to illuminate for me to see them until I am too close to stop/avoid an accident. I have been told by two dealerships that this issue is common with my vehicle and they have not been provided a fix. They have informed me that everyone complains about it, because the headlights tilt in a way that prevents them from lighting the roadway properly. I have been stopped by police officers in the past for my lights appearing to be "wonky" and not lighting the roadway. There are no warning lamps or messages. The issue has been ongoing since it was purchased new in 2015. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a solution.
Head lights too dimmed/I have to use high lights often during my driving. /happens during the night. It has happens any time I use the car at night. I hope his can change. Not safe for driving at night.
