Tl-the contact owns a 2013 kia Soul equipped with nexen tires, tire line: cp662, tire size: p195/65/r15, and dot number: dmfr0113. The contact stated that while driving at 60 mph, a loud noise was heard coming from the tires. The contact pulled the vehicle to the shoulder where it was discovered that the rear drivers side tire had blown. The contact replaced the tire however, the drivers side front tire blew out a week later. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the tire belt had failed. The tire was replaced. The tires were the original equipment. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate vehicle and tire failure mileage was 22,000.
