Assist Problems of Kia Motor Soul

2 incidents driving in a not familiar area. . . Almost drove off the road in very dark conditions at a light because I couldn't see that my road had ended . I was almost side swiped trying to get back on the road the last second. Iwas not taking any meds abd don't drink also drive at night on well lit highways. Also the lights are so dim that my road assist features did not activate on dark rainy roads where it could not see road markings.

Shortly after purchasing the car (06/2024) while driving (regardless of the weather or temperature, whether it’s day, night, hot, cold, etc) all of my dash warning lights come on, complete adas system malfunction. It shows a code for my front camera through the kia connect app and says it’s chasis related. I have taken my car in multiple times for this and I still leave with it the same day hours later. Despite being told that both recommendations from my last service appointment had already been done, this is what I am left with. Even after being involved in a front end collision, none of my safety features (that have never not been on) never came into play, emergency braking never happened. Attaching most recent, first time addressing this issue was in August.

Budget rental out of ksgf. This dangerous compact SUV is unfit for united states roads and interstate highways. In 2 weeks the car over 8x attempted to overpower my driver inputs nearly driving me in to semi tractor trailer rigs. Further every time that happens a loud annoying message to take a coffee break even 7 minutes into the drive since engine start up. The partial turn off only partly lessens this dangerous technology. It attempts to stop the driver from steering and accelerator and even brake inputs. Maybe appropriate in south korea type of roads and laws and high density of autos. . . Not true in the continental u. S. .

Since I purchased the car the steering wheel will jerk, when im on a 2 lane road. It always jerks towards on-coming traffic, and it only does this when there is a car coming in the opposite lane and is just about to pass me. I have to fight with the steering wheel to get it back to go straight. Because of this whenever I am on a 2 lane road like this I always drive slow. This is the first car I've owned with this feature so I wasn't sure if that was just a glitch in the feature and just dealt with it. Which ni do realize now that was stupid on my part. Also in the past few days the drivers side door speaker sometimes works fine other times it gets all static and I have to turn all the sound to the passenger side. With that 3 other things have happened in the same time frame, im not sure if they are all connected but they seemed to have happened all at the same time. The passenger side window will go down from the driver's side door control but only sometimes goes back up. The horn stopped working last night along with the beep when you hit lock on the key fob twice. Im not sure if these are just minor things due to my lack of vehicle knowledge or if they are a real concern, so that is why I wanted to bring it to attention, in case anyone else has experienced any of these issues. The car only has 12000 miles, I only travel locally so im not sure if thats problematic or not. But as I said id rather be safe and let these issues be known.

Driving 75 mph speed limit on I-19 (4 lane divided) northbound near green valley az. Dry clear. Is new car with 400 miles on it and I was using the lane keeping assistance hands free. Clearly visible painted lane lines. Worked fine until lane markings diverged at slight curve and at off ramp. The car drove directly into/onto the "v" between right lane and off ramp until I manually steered back to traffic lane. No alarm or vibration sounded before I had to manually steer back to traffic lane.
