Structure Problems of Kia Motor Spectra

2003 kia Spectra. Never been in a wreck. Power windows fail to work. A couple months ago, the passenger side window came off the track, and the in-door assembly had crumbled within the door. Took getting an entire assembly to repair the window. Today, the driver's side window does not open. Motor still works. A clicking sound can be heard as it runs, but it is not gripping the window to lower it. (still not repaired).

Driver's door window regulator fails causing window to slide down track into the door. The power regulator raises and lowers the window with a metal wire running through plastic guides on a metal track. The ends of the wire are capped inside a plastic bracket to which the window is attached. These plastic parts wear and crack causing the wire to come loose thus preventing the window from being held up.

I got a new car last week. . Had all the brakes and fluids, etc. Checked and fixed. Picked it up Friday. Drove to work then was leaving work when my foot got stuck between the gas and brake couldn't get it out when I hit a truck it came loose. I very lucky to be alive. I have marks on top and the side of my foot. I really think it should be looked into because the brake and gas are way to close together.

Their is standing water inside the dash I believe. You can smell stagnate water . On warm days car will steam up on inside of windows. You can also hear it moving around. Seems to be quite a bit of water.

On March 2, 2007, while driving my 2006 kia Spectra-5 at high speed on the interstate, the front windshield molding blew out of the track on the drivers side. I came close to having an accident because it scared me beyond words. I reported it to the dealer. The dealer ordered and replaced the molding with new parts. The dealership personnel stated that this was not the first car they had replaced this molding on. Last week, April 8, 2007 the windshield molding popped out again. This time on both sides of the windshield. The molding is still in place along the top of the windshield. The dealer has been notified. The dealer has ordered a new part. I expect to have my car repaired again next week.

Ever since I bought my car--2002 kia Spectra, there has been problems with the steering and suspension in the front. It basically sits on the ground, the steering "slips" from time to time without warning and it just does not feel right. The dealership says that this is the way the steering is set up, I am concerned about the safety and the dealer will not change it until it is recalled by the government. Could you please investigate? thanks.

The front panel in the consumer's 2003 kia Spectra made noise. The consumer had several problems concerning the vehicle. The drivers seat belt was broken, driver and passenger doors were inoperative, faulty speaker, the vehicle would not move forward or in reverse, there would be a clicking sound if it was forced, the vehicle would not accelerate over 30 mph for 10 minutes.

Snow entered the vehicle, which caused the door not to open. The door was misaligned, rear lights were inoperative, snow had gotten into the rear seat(s), the vehicle leaked, seat belts were inoperative, click noise in the wipers when on a low speed, pulling noise in the engine per mechanic, and pulling when shifted. The back passenger seat belts were not long enough to hold a 135 pound passenger. The door was misaligned, rear lights were inoperative, snow had gotten into the rear seat(s), the vehicle leaked, seat belts were inoperative, click noise in the wipers when on a low speed, pulling noise in the engine per mechanic, and pulling when shifted. The vehicles windshield wipers failed intermittently. The dealer replaced the windshield motor yet the problem persisted. The door was misaligned, rear lights were inoperative, snow had gotten into the rear seat(s), the vehicle leaked, seat belts were inoperative, click noise in the wipers when on a low speed, pulling noise in the engine per mechanic, and pulling when shifted. Scc.

While driving the vehicle hesitated to accelerate and didn't change gears. The vehicle accelerated into full throttle. (two accidents had occurred due to these failures) ts the front end alignment had pulled to the left, the check engine light and the transmission had become inoperative. Scc.
