One problem related to automatic transmission column shift has been reported for the 1997 Kia Motor Sportage. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle would hesitate with a "clunking" noise during normal operation of vehicle while traveling at any speed. Dealership stated that transfer case broke and had to be replaced. Please provide any additional information / documentation.
