Dangerous fuel leak close to exhaust pipe and harmful fumes being leaked into passenger cabin via fuel pump door under rear seat. Extensive external fuel tank corrosion. Corrosion unwarranted, dangerous, and costly to repair. Major highway and urban danger if not fixed properly. Fuel tank, fuel pump, and fuel lines in need of investigation and prompt recall.
Consumer stated that fuel was leaking from the top of the fuel tank onto the exhaust pipe while driving. Dealer was notified. The dealer replaced the fuel tank and pump.
At any time fuel pushes out of the fuel tank, causing some fuel to leak out onto the outside, and some on the inside of vehicle . Dealer has been notified. Please provide further information.
