The contact owns 2020 kia Sportage. The contact stated that after parking the vehicle it was later discovered that a crack had developed in the front glass windshield. The contact indicated that no rock of object had made contact with the glass windshield to cause the crack and the crack started at the low section of the glass and extended up approximately 6 inches. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 30,000.
