The door locks on the car will start cycling locked/unlocked very rapidly. Sometimes in only last 10-15 seconds, other times it will not stop until I manually click the lock or unlock button. It does this when it is parked and it does this when the vehicle is in motion. I do have a video on my phone of this. Kia is being of no assistance in getting this resolved. Online there are multiple reports of the exact same scenario and everybody is reporting kia is not fixing the issue.
The contact owns a 2022 kia Telluride v6. The contact stated the safety sensor that signals the tailgate to lift up and away failed. The contact stated because the sensor had failed to lift their head had been hit by the tailgate causing severe injury. The contact received a head concussion and injuries to the neck and spine. The contact stated they were in continual need of medical assistance. The dealer had been contacted however the appointment time had not occurred as of yet. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure where they informed the contact that a case with consumer affairs would be created. The contact stated when they attempted to confirm the case number with consumer affairs that the manufacturer had provided they were informed the case did not exist. The failure mileage was 20,000.
