The contact owns a 2024 kia Telluride. The contact stated that while driving 45 mph, a small rock struck the front windshield, creating a bullet-sized hole in the windshield. Additionally, while driving on the interstate on two separate occasions, rocks struck the front windshield and caused chips in the windshield. The vehicle was taken to a glass center, where the windshield was replaced. The technician informed the contact that the glass was thin. The contact called the local dealer and was informed that the windshield was thin and there was no recall for the failure. The dealer informed the contact that the glass needed to be replaced and recalibrated. The contact called two other dealers in texas and retrieved similar information. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 42.

The windsheild easily cracks. Less than 1000 miles and it cracked.
