36 Power Train problem of the 2024 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 05/29/2025

The vehicle was parked(placed in park on gear shift) in a friends driveway, facing upward on approx. 15deg incline with the engine idling. My wife exited the vehicle and walked around the front of the vehicle to the houses front entrance where she spoke briefly with the owner inside the front door. On leaving the house the car was gone from where it was left parked. My wife found that it had rolled up the driveway incline until it hit a couple of pine trees at the top end of the drive and stopped. She opened the door and found the gear shift still in the parked position at which point she entered the car, placed it in reverse and backed out of the tree branches and took photos. The incident was immediately reported to kia America and the dealer. The vehicle has been at the dealer for 3 weeks now with no resolution, undergoing "testing". They say it is not operating the way it should be, but they have not been able to identify or correct the issue. Kia America has told me the issue has been elevated to kia factory tech support. Other than scratches there appears to be no major damage. Photos show driveway, trees that stopped the vehicle and debris and scratches.

37 Power Train problem of the 2020 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 05/19/2025

This is a follow-up to complaint #11666572 regarding my 2020 kia Telluride (VIN: [xxx] ), with urgent concerns about ongoing safety violations and abusive conduct by greenway kia east and kia America. On June 26, 2025, kia America reversed its prior refusal and agreed to reimburse uber, rental, and towing costs—but only after I filed multiple complaints. Earlier, they claimed to have no influence over the dealership, which had refused all reimbursement after I complained about service manager gina. Worse, on June 27, the dealership responded via bbb telling me to contact gina again—the very person I formally complained about for unprofessional and negligent conduct. This isn’t just mishandling; it is degrading, retaliatory, and dangerous. Key safety/legal concerns: • my vehicle was returned on may 31, 2025, with dangerously low coolant, just days after engine replacement—posing a critical safety risk. • the service manager dismissed my concerns until I insisted, then acted with open disrespect. • repairs were withheld may 19–28 unless I paid $1,833. 77, despite warranty coverage. Only after I came in person on may 28 did they reverse and offer free service. • I was charged $580. 97 for a diagnostic test tied to a manufacturer defect that led to engine replacement—still not refunded. • the pattern of neglect, retaliation, and deception from both the dealer and kia America endangers drivers and violates federal safety standards. This dealer has acted with impunity since may 19, 2025. Their behavior is abusive, unsafe, and incompatible with their licensing. I urge NHTSA to investigate whether greenway kia east should retain its dealership license. Their conduct undermines public safety and federal standards. A full follow-up and attachments were sent to nhtsamedia@dot. Gov from [xxx] . Please contact me for documentation. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

38 Power Train problem of the 2020 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 05/16/2025

On [xxx], my kia Telluride received a warranty engine replacement at greenway kia east in orlando, FL. Just two days later, on [xxx], the engine overheated while I was driving with my young child. The temperature warning light came on. I stopped immediately and opened the hood — there was no coolant in the system at all. This failure occurred immediately after a major engine replacement, suggesting that the dealer failed to fill or properly check the coolant system. I was left stranded near a daycare and had to call a third-party tow truck because kia roadside assistance estimated a 90–120 minute wait. This put my child and me in serious danger. Despite the dealer’s clear negligence, I was sent an invoice for $1,833. 77, blaming me for the damage. Upon retrieving the car on may 31, 2025, I personally checked under the hood — the coolant level was still below the min line. When I pointed this out, the service manager said, “we’re not required to top it off, but if that satisfies you, we’ll put some in. ” this is extremely unsafe and irresponsible, especially after a critical repair like an engine replacement. Later, the dealership even claimed to kia America that the engine was not replaced under warranty, contradicting their earlier confirmation. This kind of conflicting information, combined with unsafe practices and disregard for basic safety protocols, raises serious concerns about consumer safety and the dealership’s integrity. To make matters worse, kia America closed my case ([xxx]) on June 10 without notifying me or giving me a chance to respond. I received only one dropped call from an unknown number, and no voicemail or follow-up communication. A formal complaint was mailed to kia America on June 11, 2025, and I am currently waiting for their response. On June 12, 2025, I also filed a complaint with the better business bureau (bbb). Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

39 Power Train problem of the 2020 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 05/15/2025

I have a 2020 kia Telluride that I bought brand new from kia. I have performed regular maintenance on the vehicle and performed the repairs required by any recalls. When my vehicle surpassed 75k miles, the vehicle started having issues with excessive oil consumption. I had my vehicle serviced at 75k miles with the oil changed. When my vehicle was passed 79k miles, the vehicle started stalling, piston misfiring, and engine started vibrating. I took it into the dealer, and they performed diagnostic tests. The determined pistons were working fine but my oil level was very low. This was around 4k miles after my oil change. Kia requires oil changes every 7500 miles. I had the dealer change the oil. Once again, when my vehicle was approaching 4500 miles, the vehicle started to vibrate, piston was not filing properly. I checked my oil level, and it showed very minimal oil on the dip stick. The oil level was well below that was needed for the engine to properly operate. I put closed to 5 quarts of oil to get the engine to the oil level it needed. I am concerned that the excessive oil consumption can lead to the vehicle stalling on the road resulting in collision with other vehicles resulting in bodily injury or harm. According to kia the oil consumption is fine. How is consuming 5 quarts of oil in 4500 miles fine when the manufacturer states oil changes are required every 7500 miles? the engine itself has a capacity of 6. 9 quarts. At the rate my engine is burning oil, I would need over 7. 2 quarts of oil to drive 7500 miles. Additionally, having an engine continuously operating with low oil would result in engine damage and thousands of dollars in repairs. The problem I am having in my vehicle is experienced by thousands of kia Telluride owners. It's the same problem kia has had in the past with other models. Kia is trying to avoid repairing their defective vehicle and placing the burden on the consumer.

42 Power Train problem of the 2020 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 04/10/2025

We have had multiple issues with this car. First the pearl white peeling off on hood and above the windshield. Second cv3 axles boots leaking on our vehicle and multiple others at the kia dealership. 43 Power Train problem of the 2020 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 02/14/2025

The car is a 2020 kia Telluride. It was purchased in August 2023 at the time it was leaking oil took it back to the dealer and they replaced the housing put in a new filter and said all was good . For a year. It constantly needed oil took it back to the dealer, said that everything was fine. I would be driving and the car would stop. The oil lamp would come on and I would have to drive and put more oil in it every week. I was putting a quart of oil into the vehicle just about weekly because it seemed to be leaking oil and just a dying out. Just a few days ago after putting a quart of oil in I’m driving my vehicle and all of a sudden smoke comes out of the back a little bit out of the hood. It just stopped all the lights went on the car went dead. Had to call the police get the vehicle towed to the dealer at that point was told the engine had died. They want to put a new engine in the car which it’s a five year-old car. It should not need a new engine what is causing it to need a newengine. Ever since I purchased the car, it had oil problems so did the oil lead to engine failure. I know I’m not the only one that this has happened to every time I would take it back to the kia dealer. I was told everything‘s fine everything was not fine never got any warning lights or signals, except for when I was driving the car would literally sputter and stop at a light. I would have to restart it and then go get oil.

44 Power Train problem of the 2020 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 02/04/2025

My vehicle has been repaired multiple times for leaking oil in different areas.

45 Power Train problem of the 2020 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 02/03/2025

Car has been brought to kia for transmission issues multiple times and the associate tells me to just tighten the gas cap to get the light to go off. The car is not shifting properly and will "jump" or "lunge" forward while driving. I have noticed that the rpm's will jump and bounce around, seemingly down shifting, then shift again, and then down shift again, which causes jerking motion. The reason I initially took the vehicle in was for a "shake" or "wobble" when accelerating up a hill (semi steep incline) or at freeway speeds (55-70mph). In these instances, the vehicle will have a hard time shifting and temporarily lose momentum causing concerns for me and other drivers on the road. The transmission light will go on and I call kia to be told to tighten the gas cap. I recently brought it in for the third time and they diagnosed something different. I have mentioned the transmission each time, but they have focused on other items and not the transmission. I have had the shocks replaced, the tires replaced, alignment performed, and the problem still persist. However, the dealership will not look at the transmission and says that it is the other items, but the issue still remains after fixing the other items. The shock failure caused other items to wear out and the dealer should be on the hook for those items. I have brought the vehicle in dating to last year for the transmission issue with no help from the dealership. Please take action so that we don't lose our lives or put others at risk for injury.

46 Power Train problem of the 2024 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 02/01/2025

Transmission constantly slipping after driving and transmission gets warmed up. Vehicle continues to rev up and enter high rpms before changing gears and then jolts the vehicle as changing gears. Also steadily leaking coolant fluids, have taken vehicle to the dealership as of now three times to have the coolant issue serviced. Repairs are still not complete to date.

47 Power Train problem of the 2025 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 01/31/2025

Issue: engine stall & loud tapping/grinding noise vehicle only has 1,100 miles and has stalled about 5 times when slowing down to about 10mph & then accelerating again. Issue has also happened when going about 3mph & then accelerating. About 10sec stall & then vehicle takes off. Several of the stalls happened even though the auto/start switch was engaged to disable feature since I thought maybe a bad switch was the issue causing the stalls, but stalling happens with it on & off. Another issue engine makes a tapping noise when in gear & accelerating up to about 1200rpm. Issue has been getting louder since purchase. At 1100 miles started car & pulled into garage after vehicle set for about 2hours (75f outside), upon doing this the engine sounded terrible like there were a handful of marbles in the engine, super loud sound, at this point made appointment with dealer, but they are so backed up vehicle can't go in for service for about 2 weeks per no loaner car available until then, since it can take up to 1 week to get looked at. Will update with their findings but looking at form pages & you-tube videos it seems like the ongoing engine tapping complaint resulting in an engine replacement & maybe part of the 2024 recall valve spring breaking resulting in the loud marble sound I am hearing. Car stalling is a major safety concern since a few of the stalls happened when pulling in front of traffic going 60mph.

48 Power Train problem of the 2021 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 01/30/2025

I’ve taken my vehicle to kia a few times about my transmission sputtering and the first time they told me I needed a transmission flush, I paid $250. 00 to have it done just to have it continue to happen and every time I bring it there they say they aren’t seeing or feeling anything. It’s still doing it. Also I opened my sunroof and it hasn’t been used much since I bought it in 2022 and now it’s stuck open. Took to the dealer just for them to tell me I have to pay $140 diagnosis fee and my warranty most likely won’t cover to fix it. I purchased the platinum bumper to bumper warranty!.

51 Power Train problem of the 2022 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 01/16/2025

The contact owns a 2022 kia Telluride. The contact stated that after his wife had parked the vehicle and left the front driver's side door opened while there were two passengers in the rear seats. The contact stated that his wife unloaded the vehicle and walked towards the front door. The contact's mother-in-law and daughter who were in the residence noticed that the vehicle was rolling back and alerted the contact's wife, who turned around and ran after the vehicle. The vehicle crashed into the rear passenger's side of another parked unoccupied vehicle. The vehicle continued to roll back until it crashed into a palm tree. The contact stated that none of the passengers occupying the rear seats sustained injuries. The vehicle was driven back to the driveway. The contact stated that the front driver's side door which was opened at the time of the incident, became bent and damaged. Additionally, the rear of the vehicle was damaged. The contact stated that the incident was recorded by his front door camera. No police report was filed. The vehicle was then towed to an autobody repair shop to be repaired. The contact stated that the recall of NHTSA campaign number: 24v214000(power train) was previously completed on the vehicle; however, the recall remedy failed to fix the failure. The dealer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was filed. The contact sent a recording of the incident to the manufacturer, but the manufacturer denied assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 36,000.

52 Power Train problem of the 2021 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 01/09/2025

Component/system failure: the engine and lubrication system appear to be malfunctioning. The vehicle has repeatedly experienced sudden engine shutdown while stopped at traffic lights and during low-speed operation. The dealership has identified oil leakage involving the oil pan and oil filter housing and has indicated there may be an internal oil leak within the engine. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. Safety risk: when the engine shuts off unexpectedly, the vehicle loses propulsion in active traffic. This creates a risk of rear-end collision and prevents immediate maneuvering out of traffic flow. The loss of engine power while stopped or moving at low speeds presents a serious safety hazard to myself and surrounding drivers. I am concerned that the suspected internal oil issue may lead to catastrophic engine failure while driving. Dealer confirmation / reproduction: the issue has been reported to the dealership multiple times beginning in January 2025. The vehicle has undergone multiple inspections and repair attempts, including partial fuel injector replacement, battery replacement, and an oil consumption test. The dealership has acknowledged oil leakage and has stated that replacing the oil pan gasket and oil filter housing may not resolve the suspected internal oil leak. The defect has not been permanently corrected. Inspection by manufacturer or others: the vehicle has been inspected multiple times by the dealership. The matter has been escalated to kia corporate for review. No police or insurance inspections have occurred, as no collision has yet resulted from the stalling events. Warning lamps / symptoms: during each stall event, the check engine light illuminates along with multiple dashboard warning lights. The stalling first began in January 2025. Oil-related concerns and possible oil loss were reported during prior service visits. The condition continues despite repair attempts.

53 Power Train problem of the 2020 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 01/04/2025

While traveling at highway speeds between 65-75mph the vehicle with violently shake while shifting and then lunge forward. However, during the shaking the vehicle is hard to control and feels like it is going to just shut off. This scenario primarily happens on flat roads at the above mentioned speed. However, we have noticed an issue with the vehicle while turning corners and accelerating, as well as, when going up hills or steep highway sections. The vehicle has a v6 but seems to struggle shifting when trying to accelerate even to 40-50mph. In some instances the vehicle has labored up a hill and seemingly doesn't want to downshift and pick go faster. It seems that this issue has triggered a TSB from kia, but the issue has potential for elevated risks for other drivers on the road. If the vehicle is unable to maintain freeway speeds or climbing speed, then it poses a risk to traffic on either side of the road and the potential need to pull over. It seems that the vehicle loses power or momentum and would make it very dangerous to get off the road or onto the shoulder. The violent shaking could cause a driver to panic and lose control of the vehicle while at highway speeds and needs to be investigated.

54 Power Train problem of the 2020 Kia Motor Telluride

Oil filter, housing leaks where it bolts to the motor this could become a fire hazard but the exhaust close to it.

55 Power Train problem of the 2023 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 10/14/2024

Vehicle began to shake when approaching 40mph or greater. Mechanic at dealership stated bolt from driveshaft to rear coupler was missing with two other bolts loose. Missing bolt threads were rusted as if bolt was never installed from factory as vehicle only has 12,000 miles. No warning messages displayed, only symptom was vibrations when approaching 40mph or greater.

56 Power Train problem of the 2021 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 10/03/2024

I was driving and stopped in the center lane and the SUV would not move. I was left in an unsafe position. I was there about 10-15 min and got pushed out of the road. I turned the SUV off and on a few times with no difference in response. I let the SUV sit there about another 5 min and was able to move the SUV and the problem has not occured today but it does seem to be shifting a little hard and have noted that recently. I saw something online about NHTSA id numbers 11425571 and 11354498. That might be relivent but I was trying to to find more information on those.

57 Power Train problem of the 2022 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 10/01/2024

The vehicle intermittently fails to shift gears and loses acceleration without warning, creating a serious safety hazard. The problem began in October 2024 when the check-engine light first appeared and has continued since. Despite multiple repair attempts by the kia dealership—including replacement of the fuel pump, fuel pressure sensors, and ecu—the root cause remains undiagnosed, and the defect persists. When the vehicle was brought back in August 2025, the dealer’s latest recommendation on 9/30/25 was to replace the injector harnesses and front wire assembly, but they cannot guarantee this will resolve the issue.

58 Power Train problem of the 2020 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 10/01/2024

High oil consumption. Oil needs added frequently or it gets low and car doesn’t run correctly. Transmission slips daily at low speed first thing in the morning. When making slow turns tires tires don’t seem to remain steady/grip. The car is hoppy like there is a traction problem. Tires have been replaced and issue remains.

59 Power Train problem of the 2021 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 09/07/2024

There is an ongoing problem with the awd coupler on every model year of this vehicle and other kia/Hyundai awd vehicles. The problem occurs at lower speeds (35mph or less) while turning, and/or when starting from a stop turning either left or right. The vehicle produces a binding or slipping feel in the rear wheels along with a clunking noise from the rear of the vehicle. This is dangerous because the vehicle loses traction/power when its needed most during slit second decisions. Many of these couplers are failing early in the life of the vehicle. Mine is at 27k miles, however I believe the problem started long ago, closer to 15k miles. Kia knows about this issue but has failed to come up with a reliable solution. This is four model years now with the same issue. Kia has released TSB after TSB on this, and even recalled it early in the life of their debut model, the 2020. However, there are still reports of replacement parts failing again around the same amount of milage. It would be great if a wider recall can be issued to address this ongoing problem that seems to affect every model year so hopefully kia can find a more reliable, quality part to replace the consistently failing part.

60 Power Train problem of the 2020 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 08/22/2024

Vehicle began having issues around 60,000 miles. Stutters and slips between 2nd and 3rd gear. When on an incline the issue is much more prevalent. On a steep incline, the vehicle is like lurching it is so prevalent and it feels as though the vehicle is going to give up. Around 45 mph, the vehicle begins vibrating; as speeds increase, the shaking (left to right) becomes increasingly violent. At times, it feels as though the vehicle is going to shake off the road. The issues I primarily when accelerating, and when the gas pedal is released, the shaking slows almost to a stop. Tires, balance, and alignment checked multiple times over the course of the issue and tires are changed seasonally. Took to dealership multiple times to be told there was no issue with the vehicle and it was operating properly. Just over 100k miles, back at the dealership and there is suddenly an issue found. Was told at dealership that passenger side front axle inner race is damaged and needs replaced. Took vehicle to local mechanic since dealership had jerked us around so much over the issues, not repairing, keeping car for extended amounts of time without a loaner vehicle, etc. Local mechanic did a lot of research. This is a common complaint of the Telluride and kia is aware but is not doing anything about it. Mechanics recreated issue immedately said rear driveshaft had movement it shouldn't and replaced. They also serviced the transfer case and transmission. There is a TSB issued on this, but research suggests that it is not resolving the problems and kia dealerships are not acknowledging the issue until out of warranty and TSB doesn't cover the repairs even though it is faulty manufacturing.

61 Power Train problem of the 2022 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 08/08/2024

The contact owns a 2022 kia Telluride. The contact stated that while the vehicle was idle and in park(p) in the driveway, the vehicle jerked forward while his wife was in the front, driver seat. As the contact's wife checked the gear shifter, the vehicle suddenly accelerated and crashed into the contact's garage door without warning. The garage door, garage rail and garage opener were all damaged as a result of the crash. The air bags did not deploy upon impact; there were no injuries and a police report was not filed. The manufacturer was immediately notified of the failure and a case was filed. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 46,000.

62 Power Train problem of the 2024 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 08/01/2024

Vehicle was part of the NHTSA 24v077 recall for faulty valve springs and took into dealership in April 2024 and engine was not replaced as it was listed as ok. Subsequently took for other recalls and maintenance, each time the vehicle was released back. Took vehicle in for oil change in Apr 2025 and stated evidence of noise in rear end, repair records indicate spare tire loose so tightened and given back. Noise was still evident so I tightened and in mid August, noise got worse and could feel while driving. Took in 29 Aug 2025 for oil change and mentioned noise. At this point after 6 or more visits, kia flagged the vehicle under 24v077 and directed engine change saying unsafe to drive. So they allowed me to drive 30k miles and finally replaced engine which was performing satisfactory. The rear end noise was determined to be rear differential which was replaced, noise remained, techline case opened, shocks changed, noise remained, field engineer visit scheduled 6 weeks out then canceled with direction to change rear cross member which was changed, noise still there. Now existing case re-opened with request for another engineer to visit. More money spent in rear end repairs which noise started in April 2025, then the cost of engine replacement which has only 65 miles all by dealership. Vehicle at dealership since 29 August 2025. Not confident engine replacement is satisfactory as fuel pump also required replacement and the inability to fix rear end is keeping from checking engine replacement is fixed. Wife no longer feels safe ever driving this vehicle again. Furthermore, kia put us at risk by failing to direct dealership to change engine in April 2024 and all subsequent visits before finally flagging. My guess is lack of new engines available and did not want me to wait so allowed us to continue to drive extra miles and addl time took out of state lemon law timeframe likely. All repair records avail on request. Demanding buyback from kia of America.

63 Power Train problem of the 2022 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 07/19/2024

The contact owns a 2022 kia Telluride. The contact stated that after parking in the driveway with the engine still operating the contact exited the vehicle and moments later the vehicle erroneously rolled backwards and collided into the side of the home. During the incident both the front and rear driver's side doors and home were damaged. The cause of the failure was not determined. The contact was informed of the NHTSA campaign number: 24v214000(power train). The contact indicated that the vehicle had experienced that same failure listed in the recall. The manufacturer and local dealer were not yet contact regarding the incident. The failure mileage was 37,600.

64 Power Train problem of the 2023 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 07/10/2024

In July of 2024 (when the vehicle was a year old) our 2023 kia Telluride was diagnosed with a faulty 4wd coupler. We were told to go home with it (320 mile round trip) and return to have it repaired in August. We dropped it off on Aug 5th. On Aug 14th we were told that the new coupler was either faulty from the factory or failed immediately on their test drive. Again we were told to go home with the faulty 4wd coupler and return in September to replace it again. We traveled back to kia service Sep 10th and had another new coupler installed. The 4wd coupler failed again in the early summer of 2025. On July 9th we dropped the vehicle off for repair. On the 24th we traveled back to pick it up after they had installed the fourth 4wd coupler this vehicle has had. I have negotiated with kia customer care for a couple months now asking for a replacement vehicle since they are unable to find the underlying cause of these drivetrain failures. They have offered me a $2,199. 99 compensation check if I would sign an agreement releasing them from any liability concerning this issue, as well as any other issue that might ever arise with this vehicle. I would also be forbidden to publicize this problem or reveal the settlement details. I am disinclined to accept it. The 4wd coupler is an important component in this vehicle's drivetrain. It is important in safe handling and control. Kia service has sent us on the long round trip home and back again knowing we were driving with a faulty drivetrain component. Judging for some online posts, this problem does not appear to be uncommon. It is reasonable to expect this issue to continue. Kia's plan seems to be to just get me past my warranty period (only about 8,000 more miles) and then any repair costs will be mine. The current and future safety issues obviously are of no concern to them. I currently have no good options. I don't like the idea of selling a vehicle with known safety issues. The repair history will show it to be a "limon".

65 Power Train problem of the 2020 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 07/02/2024

The contact owns a 2020 kia Telluride. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number 24v214000 (power train) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The vehicle was stopped by the contact when he engaged the brake pedal, but the vehicle slightly crashed into his neighbor's vehicle. The contact stated that no warning lights illuminated. The contact was taken to the local hospital. The contact stated he suffered a contusion in his foot and was diagnosed with a crushed injury by the local hospital and he also stated his son was traumatized from the incident. A police report was not filed. The dealer was not contacted and the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure the failure mileage was approximately 68,213. Parts distribution disconnect.

66 Power Train problem of the 2022 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 07/01/2024

The vigils when turning left or right makes a grumbling sound from the rear or transmission. Took the car to kia in huntsville. Al and they keep saying they don’t hear anything. You can clearly hear it. I have video recording. Seem like they don’t want to cover what is broken. It could possibly be the transmission case/ coupler because it’s an awd. Next I will be filing a law suite.

70 Power Train problem of the 2020 Kia Motor Telluride

Failure Date: 06/01/2024

Our vehicle is 4 years old and has been experiencing excessive oil consumption (a quart every ~600 miles) and extreme shaking at speeds between 20-50mph. After months of trying to diagnose the issue we have been quoted a total engine and transmission replacement. After calling dealerships across the east coast for second opinions, this is a common diagnosis for our vehicle year and model and even within our small local dealership they are seeing other 2019 and 2020 kia models experiencing failed piston rings. Kia declined our request for corporate intervention to address the issue.
