The contact owns a 2022 kia Telluride v6. The contact stated the safety sensor that signals the tailgate to lift up and away failed. The contact stated because the sensor had failed to lift their head had been hit by the tailgate causing severe injury. The contact received a head concussion and injuries to the neck and spine. The contact stated they were in continual need of medical assistance. The dealer had been contacted however the appointment time had not occurred as of yet.
