Two problems related to brake abs warning light have been reported for the 1999 Land Rover Discovery. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The consumer complained about an abs brake problem. , there was a faulty right wheel sensor which caused the hill descendent control, traction control light, and the abs light to come on . Contact started noticing this problem on August 1, 2005. Contact took the vehicle to the dealer, and they confirmed this was a safety issue, but have not issued a recall. The dealer was going to fix the vehicle at consumer's expense. These lights stayed on all the time.
Consumer states the abs light continously illuminates.
